I ordered two of these and they arrived very quickly.One issue is that one of the units came without build instructions. Thankfully the second unit had these or the build may have been more difficult.In saying that this is an excellent product and reasonably simple to put together.

Really happy as our herbs and sprouting seeds are no longer in danger from violent gusts of wind. Our garden feels like a wind tunnel at times! My tomatoes should be better pleased now. I decided to raise the whole thing on a board with stilts just to catch extra sunlight and avoid bending down. Painted it green because our bricks are grey and I needed some colour contrast:) just to be clear- this is not an air proof green house and the timber is the typical soft wood kind that you find in many garden centres. Just like the kind my planter is made of (see photo) they tend to split, but it’s not always the case, and it is not irredeemable. This little hut is what I am using just to provide extra green house effect and shelter- nothing state of the art. It does fulfill it’s purpose.

The Coldframe is made from softwood and I mean softer than pine. The handles are not the same colour as the frame and the top of the frame is not polycarbonate like the photo but cheap plywood. It will do ok once I do some modifications by sealing it right, painting it, and adding some bubble wrap. A shame as I should not need to do this on a new product.

Wood split in several places and numerous knots badly filled. Earlier model was tongue and groove, but this new one isn't and is not as sturdy.UPDATE: Stewart and Gibson were very helpful and requested a replacement from the manufacturer. Unfortunately when it arrived, the replacement was only marginally better. I was offered a discount or return for a refund. I would not recommend the product.

Looks to be a good quality product and was relatively easy to put together. I'm sure my tomatoes will do well in it. I like the fact it has a split upper roof allowing ventilation and not too much weight rests on the support brackets. I also like the fact that it is already stained, saving me a job. My only niggle is the door latch. It's at the top of the house and not really big enough to hold both doors. I'll have to see whether they blow open. I might need to add a little sneck lower down.

Item arrived very quickly ahead of estimated delivery, very simple to put together and looks great in our garden. Will do the job for protecting my cuttings perfectly.

Surface finish not good- needs repainting to make waterproof. Screws don’t line up well and some in crooked- quite flimsy
