HORMEL Bacon Toppings Applewood Crumbled Bacon, 3 Ounce (Pack of 8)

I ordered these after a previous order of 6 bags containing 6 ounces each had some issues arriving at my home. Several shipping delays in transit I thought I had ordered the same thing but ordered this instead. End price was the same, ounces were not. The quality of the items are not to be disputed, they're wonderful. I like having the pre-cooked bacon bits on hand at all times. They're great in recipes, on salads or stuffed baked potatoes. I put a sprinkling of them on green beans to occasionally dress them up, along with a bit of diced onion and beef bouillon. The flavor and smell is incredible, they taste fresh, they don't contain a bunch of grease, are so easy to use and the texture is good. Not hard and brittle. They are not floppy either, just meaty fully cooked and tender. I used to buy the single large bags for our family. Since becoming empty nesters I prefer having several smaller bags on hand to be able to open a smaller quantity at a time. Plus the small bags take up much less space in our refrigerator. We still cook traditional sliced bacon. But when we need a small amount of crumbled bacon, this is our go to item.

My heart was broken because all the HEB stores in my area seem to be out of this bacon!!! I looked for weeks and couldn’t find any. And it is a MUST for my daily salads. Other bacon buts just don't taste as good to me. I was on the last package I had left when I realized Amazon may have some. The 8-pack arrived just in time and the packages are fresh and delicious!

What can be said?!? BACON! Made by the best bacon bits company out there. Very few fatty pieces in these bags compared to other brands. Great on salads, sprinkled on an egg burrito or stirred into a pancake batter. Delicious 😋

Very good bacon flavor, some pieces were a little big if you were using as topping on 7 layer salads or maple bacon cakes cream cheese frosting!

Real Bacon! I have loved these for more years than I care to admit. Much better price than grocery store, can do the multiple pack because of the shelf life. Provider sent them quickly and packaged good.
