I was pleased to see a more modern take on that old ...
When I was a teenager in the 1970s, I spend a year living in the remote Northern California mountains. I washed my clothes with an old-fashioned galvanized stomper similar to this. It worked very well. Living in a similar situation now, I was pleased to see a more modern take on that old utensil. When my new blue laundry stomper arrived, I was impressed with the heaviness of the plastic. I don't think I've ever had a more robust-feeling plastic item before. So imagine my surprise when, as I was screwing the two handle extensions together, the threaded part of the plastic snapped right off!The handle comes in three pieces: the shovel handle at the end, and two extensions, which then attach to the bell at the bottom. Mine broke at the threaded connection between the two extensions in the very middle of the handle. Looking at the cross-section of the broken part, I could see what looks like a manufacturing defect: a big void, like a hollow bubble, in the plastic right inside the threaded part, making it very weak. I did not bear down on it very hard because you're not supposed to tighten plastic things too much. Nevertheless, it snapped in half.Luckily, I could still screw the handle onto the bell and wash some clothes in a bucket while sitting down, in order to try out this new laundry plunger. Not uncomfortable at all. This will do while I pursue a refund or replacement, I thought.I see some reviews from people who experienced a similar breakage. None of them report even trying to follow through with customer support. So I poked around on Amazon and found a link to email the manufacture. They responded very promptly, saying that unfortunately I would have to go through Amazon first, since the order was fulfilled by Amazon. So I put in for a refund and Amazon provided me with a shipping label, informing me I would get a refund as soon as the item was returned. This is great – most vendors require you to pay return shipping. But in the meantime EasyGo Products had gone ahead and issued me a refund, with a note that I don't have to return the broken unit. Stellar customer service! This product has a lot of really good reviews. I have the impression that as long as you get a unit without a manufacturing defect, you'll be happy with it. I'm perfectly willing to try again, and have already ordered a replacement unit. With the one I already have, now there are spare parts :-)Update: the replacement unit arrived and appears to be hale and hearty. Now I can do my clothes washing standing up. It's kind of hard to do a queen size sheet in a 5 gallon bucket so I got a 17 gallon plastic trash can, which is absolutely perfect as a washing vessel. A 5 gallon bucket suffices for the rinse. You can get very vigorous with your agitating for extra dirty clothes and, in our current 105-degree temps, splashing all that water around is very refreshing. I can see where you would want to do this outdoors rather than indoors. In the wintertime, I would have to be gentler to avoid flooding the floor, but that's OK because, at least around here, you can't get as dirty in the winter.

Clever Laundry Tool Saves Soap, Water and Energy
I bought this for the times when I just need to wash a few items and I am very glad I did. I use it more than I thought I would. For example, after working in the yard, I like to wash my dirty and sweaty clothes right away. Also, for a very dirty kitchen towel, with a little bit of soap and a little bit of Borax powder, the towel came out cleaner than it had in a regular washing machine. I do not have a lot of hand or arm strength, but the wand is very easy to use and does not require much up and down motion to clean the items. I have used the kitchen sink or a five-gallon bucket placed in my shower as my wash basin. Both methods work well. The handle is comfortable to hold; and it doesn't take much effort to agitate the water. If you camp, don't have a washing machine, are without power, or just want to save the expense of running a washing machine for a few items, I recommend this washing wand. You could even use it to pre-wash muddy items before putting them in your washing machine. It is a small investment for a very handy item.

Gets The Job Done
I grew tired of having to leave my apartment to clean my clothes and came across this product while Googling alternatives to modern laundry methods.Pros⮞ It actually works as evident by the state of water after washing.⮞ It doesn't take as much elbow grease as I thought it would. My arms are never sore as a result of using this Washing Wand.⮞ The material is good quality, sturdy, hard plastic. I use the weight of my torso to help press the wand to push the water through the laundry and the plastic holds up.⮞ The wand is adjustable. With all attachments installed, I (~5'4") can comfortably use the wand while standing. Alternatively, you can attach the handle directly to the base; I imagine that could come in hand if you feel like using a sink configured similarly to a kitchen sink.⮞ It doesn't take up a bunch of horizontal space (assembled) or general space (disassembled & boxed).⮞ It doesn't take much time to complete a small load (2 pants, 3-5 tops, 3-5 underwear). From soak to spin (see FYIs), it takes me less than an hour.⮞ You can still use fabric scent boosters.Cons⮞ Instructions aren't very informative. I feel like they could have explained how to use it properly. Instead, it was more trial & error and watching YouTube to see how others use the product.⮞ Given that I keep the loads small in order to make wash time easier, assembling and disassembling can be tedious; so I tend to just leave it assembled.⮞ While it doesn't take up much horizontal space (assemble) or general space (boxed), it is a bit vertically awkward to store while assembled.⮞ Not super effective at stain removal. (See FYIs)⮞ I don't really see this as a laundry alternative for a household with more than one person. (Unless of course, each person is doing their own laundry?)FYIs⮞ Once I found that this worked for me, I discovered drying my clothes to be a bit problematic. So I bought the Nina Soft Spin Dryer and find it compliments this Washing Wand very well.⮞ This works well for strategically prepared small loads (clothing, towels, sheets), I wouldn't use this for bulky items (comforters, quilts, coats, etc). I feel like using this Washing Wand on those types of bulky items would take too much time and water to be effective, so I think those types of item are still best suited for a laundromat.⮞ I also paired this Washing Wand with a Handheld Mini Washboard for spot scrubbing as necessary.SummaryAm I happy w/ the purchase: YesWould I recommend it: Yes

Awesome tool for emergencies or hand washing!
I live in a one bedroom apartment that does have hookups, but our portable washer is a little finicky so I just drain it in the tub. Although it's not heavy, it's still a pretty large appliance so I've been trying to save it for larger items.I bought this as a tool to help me get through some of the smaller items on laundry day, but also as a backup emergency in case our washer goes. It's great for if I need to hand wash something, or I'm out of shirts for work and didn't realize... There's a ton of utility here. Since I do have a washer though, I just throw them straight from the 5 gallon bucket I use, into the washer for a spin cycle to drain excess water. So far it's held up okay! I can only hope that it lasts longer than some reviews, because if it does, it's worth the money!

Works pretty well!
I, as a single guy living in a country setting found this to be great! It was cheap enough it played for itself within the first month, it's easy to use, it's saved me time (no driving to the laundromat) and breaks down into a easily packable item for camping so I'm pretty happy with it! Its family friendly in a sense that its quick and easy to wash a single item and it could wash your delicates a little more delicately! Lol

El producto está bien pero es muy caro
Solo espero que dure ya que lo veo frágil del brazo, pero es algo muy difícil de encontrar así que solo tenia está opción.

Love it!
I am amazed at how clean my clothes are after using this! It cleans better then my washing machine! The item was bigger then I expected. I pictured something around the same size as a plunger. Its much bigger, and the handle is long enough that you can remain upright while cleaning. You can tell when you're plunging correctly from the sound and feel of the tool. My only recommendation would be to rinse the clothes twice, not once as the instructions say. I found once wasn't enough to get all the soap out. Great product at a great price!
