Not bad for the price, seems to be built solid enough. They make a big thing of saying their not cheap,unreliable Chinese made,yet the fan i received bore no resemblance to the 1 on the picture,clearly said on the box Made in China,initially appeared good quality and was 2 speed which i thought was a bonus till I ran it on n.o2 and it blew the fuse everything. However I've been using it 24/7 for the last 6wks on n.o1 with no problems.

This did a job during seedling and veg but it just isn't powerful enough to be effective when you need to keep humidity below 50% for my 80x80cm tent.I've just needed to upgrade after a month of use and went for an AC affinity, which is the same price but doesn't include the carbon filter. The lowest range model moves twice as much air out of the tent as this (110 CFM to 205 CFM) so I can't even call this good value for money.Also, just because it comes as a package doesn't mean the fan and filter fit together nicely. You need to use duct tape to attach them securely which obviously isn't great for performance (not to mention my sanity).I wish I understood these things when I first purchased because I presumed any old 4" extractor would be suitable for such a small tent but it isn't. If you're growing in the UK you really need something better to fight the constant battle with high humidity and ever changing temps.Just a bit disappointing all-in-all

Cheap, noisy fan which has seized 3 times due to friction-overheating!! A real fire risk.Filter is also poor quality and/or old/used.

I have bought two of these, The second one came with a slightly different setup to the first. The first fan unit slotted into and sat on top of the carbon filter which was much larger than the most recent one I have received. This is actually a better setup as the first configuration was top heavy and the vibrations could shimmy it off a shelf. Now the filter can be placed up high and connected to the fan with ducting then more ducting from the fan to the exhaust. The carbon filter itself however is only half as tall so I don't know if it will have as long a life.Altogether a good product, The exhaust is not odour free but i'm sure there are limits to what a carbon filter can do.

I wouldn’t waste your money on this product there are better out there. I have tried to resolve issues with seller but no response.I’ve had the product just under 5/6 months and has now become unusable due to noise. The bearing in the motor has broke causing the noise and a rattle. I should have sent back when I first got it as it was making a slight noise then.Also product did not come with ducking tape.

Not bad but when it came it was different to the picture and had mostly the same parts as the cheaper kits and I never got the foil tape.The photos they use on their website are different again.

This extractor fan is quit powerful for the size though far from silent once ducting is attached.If you are thinking of buying this one I'd also purchase insulated ducting to reduce to noise.

Package did not come with hose clips or tape as pictured, and the carbon filter is a completely different size and shape to the one pictured. It's also pretty crap. I think it is also possibly the loudest fan I have ever heard. Not silent. It will do the job I need it for but, honestly, do yourself a favour and buy something else.
