Cricket Centrix Heat Boss 1.75” Thermal Barrel Hair Brush for Blow Drying Styling

Love! Bought one in store on clearance months ago and couldn't find anywhere - love so much wanted to buy more.Hesitant after reading some reviews - but heres my opinion -This is the absolute best thermal round brush ive ever owned. Im 42 have fine caucasian dyed hair. I do not close the barrel - this would be way too hot my hair type and would burn my hair. I keep barrell open and these brushes (i have 3) allow me to dry and set my medium-long hair in 10 minutes. Ive been getting compliments daily past few months - my hairs healthy and shinier than ever (because i am not using flat iron or curling iron after blow out with dryier and these brushes)Lastly there was a review that said brush caused her hair to smoke. My experience has been smoking hair is caused by product - product on the hair being heated too high and smoking. If you don't have thick - coarse - heat resistant hair just keep barrel open. These are excellent styling tools!

This is my favorite round brush, but the one I received from this seller is defective or not an authentic Heat Boss brush. After a few uses, the bristles are all uneven now. Like it pulled thru one side of the brush and I can’t fix it. I tried to get a replacement but was told they didn’t have any more. Buyer beware as I don’t think this is an authentic brand, hence the poor quality

So far, I am pleased with the brush and the results. The handle is a slick plastic, so unlike other brushes, it has taken me time to get used to the proper grip. I added a few hair ties to give it texture and grip. I may also take a very fine sand paper to the parts needed.

This brush does a great job of letting the air flow through and allowing your curls in your hair to remain after you blow dry with the brush

This is the best brush I've ever used to style my fine hair. I think the bristles and the ventilation at the top makes my hair style turn out better and less frizzy. I hope they never stop making it!

I always loved this brush because it would dry my straight hair super fast and make it look so shiny. I originally bought this from a salon. I’ve been using it for some years now and for the last year my husband noticed that there were blue specks all over my bathroom floor and sink that was a pain to clean up, but did not know where it was coming from until today. When I went to clean hair off the brush we noticed blue stuff on the bristles I noticed there was nonstop blue specks coming off the bristles no matter how much we wiped it with tissue. I opened the top and I see that the bristles have turned a bluish tinge. I don’t know exactly what this is if it’s lead or harmful, but I’ve had excessive hair shedding lately so as a precaution I threw out the hairbrush and am looking for another brand that hopefully has nothing toxic on it. The brush is great for the way it conducts heat and helps minimize frizz when blow drying hair. However, it is not made very well. After only two blow drys, the top piece with the vents melted and fell off.
