Definitely a jammer guy
Bought these in hopes that they would mimic my trunk-fit boxer briefs, but they do not. Just a little too short for my comfort level and I'll be sticking to the jammer-style. Love the TYR brand but these are not for me.

Good fit.
I needed a shorter swimsuit for swim practice. I had been wearing a pair of jammers, but they were starting to wear out. These fit well (I usually wear a 32 but this time I bought a 34) I wanted them a bit larger for comfort during long practice sessions. Overall, the fit and durability are good.

Good suit - durable and comfortable
This was my second pair. I bought it on Apr 5, 2021 and it gave up the ghost on Aug 13, 2022. It was tight for the first 4 months, loosened up for several months, but material still strong; after that it became droopy. The stitching in the backside came apart (picture attached). Same spot for both suits. :) I hope it didn't rip while I was doing breaststroke in the pool and someone noticed. :yikes!: Both suits lasted about the same time. I swam in these 4 days a week, an hour each day. That equals approximately 284 hours (4 × 71 weeks). I took good care of them: washed away the chlorine after each use and hung dry not directly in the sun. These were better than Speedo (which tend to be very thin). The material is thick, comfortable, doesn't print the crotch, sizing is accurate. I would get slightly smaller since they'll loosen after few months so you can wear them longer.

Good base layer for your exercise outfit.
OK. I live at the beach and am a runner and sometimes biker. A good hot summer day is awesome if I can jump in the ocean after the run. I run and bike with board shorts mostly due to zippered pockets that keep the car keys, phone, wallet etc. safe. I bought these as an underlayer since running in bathing suits is generally not fun and most bathing suits are not a good base lining (Ouch!). So far, no swimming (not hot enough) but the bathing suit feels pretty much like underwear and I have had several good walks and runs 6 miles plus. Plan is to run, drop the board shorts, swim and then put the board shorts back on to walk or drive home. This suit stays put even when running and causes no rash or chaffing from friction. Size guide is spot on .... true to size. Construction seems good. I would not wear this to a neighborhood swim ... not very flattering to a middle aged person, but it should work well for me.

Fine
Good suit. So good in fact, someone stole it from me.Will buy another, perhaps the longer one though. I did get some chafe from the edge after long kick sets.

got 1 year's use out of it
It lasted for 1 year (which is good!), swimming half an hour a day, five days a week. The Spandex (6%) gave out after about 6 months, the coloring on the stitches went from black to white about the same time period, but the main polyester suit was good until the stitches finally wore away in the back, making a hole, after about a year. It says it's good for 300+ hours, and technically I only got about 130, but it lasted a year; I'm sure if I doubled my daily session it would have lasted the same.

Best Fit Yet
This TYR Square Leg Swimsuit was for my husband to use in his 3x week workouts. He was happy to finally find one that fit him well, was good quality, and lasted. He's tried other suits that immediately stretched out, or were not sized properly. He tried this one for a couple months and was still happy with it so we went ahead and ordered a second one for later on, in case there are supply chain issues.

Loooooong drying time.
Great swim shorts, they're quite comfortable and soft inside, not the softest, but they're nice. They do take a loooong time to dry however and that is my biggest issue with them. A thread in some stitching in the front of mine started coming out, i contacted TYR and they told me it was not part of the structural stitching so it was a non issue, however, worth mentioning. I got a size 30 and am 6'2" and 160#

Buen producto

Colour
The suit fits as it should and does not stretch as long as you don't twist it to dry. use a spinner or crush to dry.The suit arrives as a blue suite (although not as blue as in picture. upon first swim it turns navy blue. If you want a blue suit this isn't thiis suite. I comes in navy or light blue that turns navy.Except for the colour issue - good suit.Ordwer 1 size above your normal waist size.

Comfortable to wear but some questionable quality issues remain
I have been using this swim trunk for about two months five or six days a week for two hours each time. For the first few weeks, the elasticity of the cloth held on fairly well and stay close to the skin during swimming. But after a while, I noticed the front and back were getting somewhat droopy like I was wearing an excessive overhang. Now, each time I get out of the water, I have to adjust it so that it won't show the shape of my private in the front and the saggy cloth on the backside. I am thinking of using another possibly two more months and have to replace it with something else before it makes me look like wearing a grandpa's swimwear.

Great for swimming.
I swim laps at our gym pool and these shorts are great. The first pair lasted about a year and a half, I'm on my second pair now. I swim 2-3 times per week pretty consistently for about an hour at a time. I'm very happy with these and would buy another pair. I'm about 5'8" and weigh around 190, I have a 32-33 inch waist and purchased the 34, they fit great.
