Q: do these have set screw for locking on and reverse turning?

The two bigger ones do but the smaller ones do not. I never turned in reverse and once I got comfortable with my lathe I don’t even tighten the set screws anymore. The longer the lathe runs the tighter it gets anyway

Q: what size screws should I get for these?

Any size that solidly holds your work will do. 1" x #8 would be pretty common. You can google this question for more detailed information - there is a lot out there.

Q: Can the be purchased with a 1 1/4" thread?

Unfortunately the 1-1/4" thread ones are only available in 4" x 6 at this time.
