Bought this for my 10 year old daughter to use as she loves being out and about finding things and thought this would be good to relieve the lockdown boredom.Have to say this is a great starter detector to buy. Very lightweight and easy to use. If you set it to all metal to start with you get lots of beeps for old bottle tops etc but it's the best way to start. We found all sorts of tat at our local beach but also a few coins etc. Since taken out across fields with some success too but more importantly its kept her busy and in the fresh air!For the money I think this is worth every penny. I didn't want to buy a toy one as I've had them before and they've been rubbish so this seemed to be the best one to go for and I've been really pleased with it.

This is water proof at the tip, up until you get to the LED and it has a seal at the battery cap.If the LED is glued in then that maybe water proof there too.The problems is at the speaker, there are holes there that will let water in.I am not willing to put this fully under water, just most of the way.Works well and at a price and I have no complaints.When this gives up the ghost, I will get the same one again.

Great item! Sturdy but quite lightweijght.

Bought this for my Granddaughter so she could start. She loves it and is happily roaming over beaches and fields (with permissions) looking for the next great hoard!!The features are good, adjustable height and sensortivity.

First detector, so not expecting much. Seems to work pretty well on first inspection. Didn't come with the advertised spade and even after attempting to contact the seller, had no response.

I was a bit weary at first but first use out in the field to find some lost mole traps under ground and it did not dissapoint i managed to find them all, easy to use and assemble. Only issue i do have is i dropped it on the kitchen floor and both covers for the batterys broke off so the plastic is quite weak but none less ideal for anyone starting off, fun for kids or just ideal to have as a tool you might need.

The connector holes to the search coil is too small so it will not fit which means it is unusable. There is a note to say to email the seller but from what I can see there is no email address and no way to contact them to get this sorted without just sending back and getting a refund. Really disappointing.

It's definitely the best budget pinpointer and does everything the better ones do other than range. It's still plenty for finding the targets in most cases, although a more expensive pinpointer with more range will definitely be faster for locating harder to find targets. One issue is that if the item is very small you literally need to be touching it for it to go off.Fully non-motion based and will work when kept still unlike a lot of the really cheap ones. It also will beep increasingly faster as you get closer to the metal item.
