A Dream game with a few Nightmares thrown in.
Fighting game fans around the world jizzed themselves when Street Fighter X Tekken was announced in 2010. And after playing the game in 2015, I have to say that it lives up to most of the hype, but has a few flaws. The Pros: Excellent graphics, responsive fighting mechanics and stunning character designs. The Cons: The fight moves are unbalanced with the Tekken characters having far more combinations and attack moves than their Street Fighter counterparts. Also, the training mode could (SHOULD) have included a feature that demonstrated every attack and showed the players how it's supposed to look. Mashing the same buttons as the move list and not knowing if you're executing the move properly is a big let down. Especially when you're starting out. For the faulty training mode, as well as the slightly unbalanced roster strength, I'd say I wasn't completely blown away by the game. But I certainly enjoy playing it.
