Short but sweet
I gave this book four stars because it was information that I have not confirmed as TRUTH in some parts, however, it's evident that Ken Johnson has done his homework with the sources he quotes from. I felt it was an informative read, even though I knew 99% of it anyway. The extra-biblical sources always make me wonder if it's really true or hearsay. But It was good, and the Biblical accounts were correct. I think it's wise to KNOW YOUR ENEMY, and Paul tells us this in Scripture as well..."for we are not ignorant of his devices." In the case of knowing who Satan really is, and what his tactics are, it behooves us to get to know him well, through Scripture. Compare Scripture with Scripture is the best method for knowing any truth. God's Word is all-truth. I also love Jesus' giving over to all of His disciples, His authority over the enemy as He states in Luke chapter 10. Jesus won the victory over Satan and his fallen angels, and the church, of which Jesus is the Head, enforces this victory through obedience to the Word of God, the Bible and being salt and light in this life, and resisting the advances of the devil. "It is written" is the best weapon, the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.

Review of the Ken Johnson book "Fallen Angels"
The book "Fallen Angels" (by author Ken Johnson) arrived in my mail after being on order for about two weeks. It was adequately packaged and was in mint condition from the box it was in. The information that the book provided to me on characters from the Judeo-Christian Holy Bible is something whose appreciation will only deepen as I travel further along in my experiences as a Christian person. This information only deepens my personal conviction that the past history of human beings (and other types of beings) is much more mysterious than the so called "modern academia" is willing to admit to.

Depends on what you want to know.
This is another book of information that will help you understand the Bible. It gives additional insight into the 6th Chapter of Genesis. To me, this is another book that can add to your understanding of the Scriptures, without destroying your belief in GOD's written word. This book gives details about the Scriptures that have been left out for some reason or another, but are based on information obtained from the Dead Sea Scrolls that can strengthen your knowledge of GOD's words that He has given us to help us through life. Trust what is in your heart, because that is where GOD will be.

the book is just a reference guide ( list of angles & their bio's ) that are referenced in scripture and holy books. It would be helpful to the would be purchaser if there were a few pages shown of the inside of the book on line to help illustrate the type of book this is.

Sound sources?
I have read several books on the Genesis 6 account of angelic tampering with humanity. I enjoyed this book and found it informative, but several of the scriptures cited were not as direct a source as one would have hoped. Also, some statements (opinions?) (i.e. DNA manipulation as origin of post-flood giants in Palestine, etc.) are not footnoted or shown where they are coming from but just appear as fact. Still, the book is worth the read.Dr. Jon Dacus

Excellent book on angels
This is a great yet quick little reference book on the fallen Angels—their history, classifications, names, etc. Explains what “demons” are and the difference between a demon and a fallen Angel. This book can most likely be read in one day.

interesting
very interesting on some of the writings in these older books (ancient books) as we try to piece together what might have happened, outside of inspired writings.

Great Bible study tool
Imagine that you had spent hours and hours and hours researching ancient historical sources and kept careful, concise notes in alphabetical order. Well, Ken Johnson did it for you. It's a Bible dictionary of the supernatural. Keep it handy when you read the Old Testament, and you'll be the first one in your church to know who Asherah was and what in the world is a terafim.

well worth buying
Dr Johnson writes in a way that he presents the information in a way that does not overwhelm the reader. He shares his many years of study and knowledge in a generous manner. The book was informative and interesting and has become integral to my personal library, well worth buying.
