Calrad 40-1072M 3D HDMI Over Dual CAT5e/6 Extender

This product is a great solution if you need to get a 3D HDMI signal across the other side of your room when HDMI length becomes an issue. The spec sheet that comes in the packaging states that it supports "1.3 HDMI," but it does support the 1.4 standard as verified with The Amazing Spiderman 3D :-)My setup: I have an Epson 3D projector, Pioneer Elite VSX 53 receiver, and about 100 feet of space in between my home theater equipment and the output device (projector). I've tried as low gauge of 1.4 HDMI cable that they have commercially available, two different wireless HDMI transmitters that promise lagless-HDMI transmission, and nothing has worked up until this wonderful little device. Transmission over the two 100-ft CAT7 cables is flawless; 3D video output and no lag or video degradation.

Bought this in the hopes that I can get 3D to work from my projector. Not only does it NOT do 3D (over CAT6 cables), I couldn't get it to show the main onscreen menu with my Onkyo NR616 and Panasonic bluray player. It shows the non-3d Bluray content like a movie and that too after many seconds with the AV receiver fighting to negotiate the signal. It also doesn't show the main menu in the Panasonic 'home' screen. Plan on returning it shortly.
