Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My kids are very happy with this pet robot dog.As a standalone, which is how we have been using it so far, it is fun for little kids. It makes noises, moves, reacts to voice commands to do tricks, reacts to touch in certain areas of the body, and makes different expressions with the eyes. It also has a special mode (you say "Showtime" to activate it) where it plays music and dances to it.Next on the menu: the phone app, which I'm trying to avoid as I don't want my kids playing with my phone. Using the app, you can create new tricks as a sequence of some predefined moves.The robot can also play music as a bluetooth speaker (don't expect hi fi though), and optionally dance to it while it plays.Overall, it is a fun toy. Younger kids will love it in its basic mode, while slightly older kids will have fun with the app to program it and do more stuff. I'll update the review when (if) we start using the app.

(see the video haha). To sum this all up, I really love this smart dog and think that if you have a kid or sibling from ages 2-11, this would be an awesome toy. Also, if you just need company because you're lonely this doggie will get the job done.VOICE CONTROLS: I was genuinely surprised at how many features came with only voice controls. There are over 20 different things you can say to the dog, and the voice commands are all very useful and distinct. They can even recognize little kid's voices, which is quite amazing because typically they are pretty blurred. Some of the voice controls I like are showtime, sit and protect me.TOUCH SENSORS: You can also touch the dog under his chin, or near his hip. This works great, as my brother always loves to hug his dog and the dog will respond with whining sounds. Also, when going forwards, the sensors at the nose will keep the dog from running into anything, which is always very helpful. I really liked that the touch sensors were so responsive, and also very well thought out. For example, you can give one short press on the head to stop any command, for example, if a song is going that you want to stop.APP USABILITY: The app is the absolute best part of this whole dog!!! It would definitely not be the same without it, and it adds so much more. For one thing, there is a virtual joystick that allows the dog to move in any direction and plenty of other buttons that allow you to do tricks and other cool things. It would be great to have a physical button so that you wouldn't have to trust your little brother with your phone, but the app functionality definitely makes up for this. Then there is the music sync. Wow. Simply, just WOW! I was so surprised at the accuracy of this feature. When playing songs with drops or just in general upbeat songs, the dog is very responsive to the sound waves and will respond accordingly. I love that the Bluetooth functionality can also play youtube through the dog! With great speakers built into the dog, it works very well and brings a lot of smiles to my brother!!! He loves it!BUILD QUALITY AND BATTERY LIFE: For the battery life, I was also very amazed. The dog is able to withstand a full day of use with my little brother, and I give it a charge, and it holds till the next day! Also, the dog automatically shuts itself off after a while of no use, transitioning first from the sleeping mode to the laying down mode, and lastly to the power-off mode. My little brother thinks that this is really funny and tries to copy his friend. As for the build quality, I think that this is one of the best features of the whole dog. Even when there are minor falls, the dog's inbuilt "suspension" kind of cushions its fall and keeps the internals safe. The hip is very strong and the motors allow for great flexibility, even when the puppy isn't on.Like I've said this entire review, this is an awesome dog, and I couldn't say more good things about it. If there is one side note I could encourage contixo to add it would be to give inbuilt voice commands for walk, forward, and backward. This could really help, as it is often a little bit annoying to go into the app and do it from the phone. just a little note. :)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Let me explains why this is the best toy for me and for my kids. We have a smaller home and my wife allergic to dog so we can’t have dogs in the house. This is the best alternative for us. We looked around for a bit and decided this is the one we want to try out first. I did a video while testing it out so others can see and decide if this is the right toy for them or not. I would love to do a longer video but I think amazon is limit the file size when you upload a video so I did the best I can.As you can tell, connecting to the application was a breeze. It gets connected within seconds. What I love about it is that I did not have to register for an account. Finally, there’s an app that you don’t have to create an account to use with…HOORAY.We really like the dog. It can do a lot of tricks and easy to control it through the app. The interface is simple enough for everyone. Even my 3 years old can use this app. At first, I thought it doesn’t accept any voice commands but I was wrong. There was a list of voice commands that you can do which is super awesome. My kids are too young to have phones so they can interact with the puppy through voice commands. This is what makes it the best for the whole family.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This came much quicker than expected (in 2 days, said it would take 6). My 8 year old son loved it and was sooo excited to get it. It worked perfect for the first few hours, then suddenly the left leg started making weird loud noises and stopped bending very well. Now he can't do handstands or roll over anymore and he can barely do his dances or turn. Trying to get a new one/ replacement from the seller to exchange it out so we'll see how that one works.
