We have close to a dozen different types of hammocks that we use for a variety of things - backpacking, camping, backyard use, etc. - and almost an equal number of tree straps. Just so you know we have a bit of suspension experience :)This is a rare example of "TRUTH IN ADVERTISING" - Meaning Cherokee Outfitters claim regarding these being "HEAVY DUTY" and extra long is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!When we first opened the package and looked at these, I thought for a second we were sent a set of seat belts by mistake!The quality of these tree straps is above and beyond and are more than adequate for suspending the heaviest loads....um..sorry..no offense intended in calling any fellow hammock dwellers heavy loads!The material literally looks and feels just like seat belts and, in fact, if you were camping and got your vehicle stuck in the mud and needed to pull it out, you could use these straps and not worry about breaking them!The length is indeed extra long, allowing for use with even the largest of trees...well..excluding giant California redwoods of course...The metal rings and carabeeners are extra strong and heavy duty as wellSo...for backyard hammock use and camping, these are awesome. The only situation we would not suggest using these for would be ultralight backpacking simply because of the weight - for those mindful of gear weight, you'd want to use a whoopie sling or ultra strong paracord.We would not have known about these had we not been given the opportunity to try these through a promotion to test drive and share our honest opinion and without hesitation give these TWO BIG THUMBS UP!!! :)

Great Product - best I can find anywhere.Strong materials and stitching, locking carabiners, and a nice bag to store it all. I've used this a few times. Even in parks where you can't hang a hammock, they let me use this because of the 2" wide design.

Havent yet used these straps, but they seem easy enough. They also are thicker than most straps I've seen which is great for our hammock supporting tree friends.

Feels strong and were easy to set up, can support a 200lb person well.
