The Best Sunglasses I've Ever Used
I've tried Smith and Trifosi glasses and Native is easily superior, especially over the Trifosi. The Native frame structure is much more robust without looking nerdy at all. They vent much better than other designs and I have yet to fog them. The nose pad is customizable for any nose shape so the frame fits on the bridge of your nose perfectly and it never slips no matter how sweaty you get nor how active you are. It is so comfortable you don't even notice you are wearing them. The temples grip your head nicely, again without being noticed. You never have to take them off for discomfort of fatigue as you don't really notice you have them on other than you aren't squinting and there is no glare. The brown polarized lens has it all over the gray lens for its ability to see detail when in shade and it intensifies the green of nature and the Native brown lens is particularly an advanced filter design. Gray lenses are for law enforcement & military who need neutral sight, everyone else will prefer brown if they give it a try. If you want a little more lens coverage, consider the similar Eastrim model but these are for medium to large heads with just modest coverage, pretty sleek design that looks cool on most people. This is a very stylish glass that performs like a champ and also they are extremely durable and the lenses are very scratch resistant. I promise you will not be disappointed with Native glasses and like me, will probably never consider anything else after you try them. Easily better than Maui Jim's and Oakleys too, IMO.

Best dark sun protection
These sunglasses are very special because they totally cover the top part of the eyes so no sun gets in between the eyes and the forehead. This is my third pair and I keep buying the same one. I really like them. The lens is also quite dark to protect the eyes from the very bright light in Southern California. They are very light in weight and don't leave a mark on my nose or my cheeks. I can wear them all day without tiring the eyes or behind the ears.

Hoping these would be as good as previous model
Back 6 - 8 years ago, I purchased two pair of Native sunglasses. They were the same model with different lenses. These were the absolutely best sunglasses I ever owned. I preferred the pair with brown/amber lenses and I wore those almost every day since purchasing them. After all that ware, there was almost no ware on the lenses and they fit so comfortably. Unfortunately I recently lost the brown pair and purchased these Native Hardtop Ultra - they look very close to my original pair, but they don't fit the same (not as well) and on inspection I can see that the lenses are made differently. With the older version, they wrap around better/more and I had better peripheral vision - with the new version the frame, in the outside corner of my eyes, blocks view. Also, when I enter a building from the outside, I like to just push the sunglasses up over my forehead - these new sunglasses just pop off my head when I try to do that. When wearing them outside, the fit is "ok" but not as comfortable as their earlier version. In short, I like the old ones better and find nothing that can be described as an improvement.

Sunglasses are great but content of the package doesn't match what's advertised.
My fourth pair of this Native brand of sunglasses and sunglasses are great... package contents have changed. The order used to include a crush-proof case for the sunglasses but last two orders omitted the case. Also, the product listing on Amazon claims the Sports lens kit is included but it is not.

They are light and comfortable and the standard lenses do a great job of ...
Can't think of any reason to spend the extra $150 for a pair of Oakleys. They are light and comfortable and the standard lenses do a great job of increasing definition and cutting glare. I will not drive or ski without them. This is my second pair of Natives; having replaced two sets of lenses and two sets of temples on the old pair, I finally decided to loosen up and get new ones. My only complaint is that the lenses are pretty stiff to get in and out of the frames. I am always afraid I am going to break something.I was skiing in flat light with these glasses and do not like goggles so I popped in the nearly-clear lenses that come in the case, and what a revelation! After years of letting them languish in the case of my older pair, I find the clear lenses do a phenomenal job of enhancing visibility in dimmer light. These glasses are worth the money.Addendum: Just ordered a pair of nose pads to revive my older pair. I received an envelope with all the paperwork but somehow no nose pads. Sent 'em an email and they sent the pads, no fuss no static. Small issue but I appreciated the service.

Buyer Beware
I wish I had read other reviews prior to making this purchase. Buyer beware - it seems the quality of Native sunglasses has significantly declined. I last purchased a pair of Native Hardtop Ultras about 6 or 7 years ago. When comparing the look, feel, accessories, and quality of what I got then vs now, I no longer want any Native product. The glasses now feel different in quality and they did not come with extra lenses or a carrying case like before. These just feel cheap now whereas I loved my last pair. I’ll be returning these and looking for another company with a better product for the price. Also, note the sunglasses in the pictures are NOT what was sent. The pictured product has a curve to the lenses at the bottom. This is consistent with my last pair of these glasses. However the new product I received had lenses that were more rectangular in appearance (see my picture).

OK glasses, but not great.
It is OK sunglasses, but not great. I got those as a replacement for my old par of Natives as they show some wear. Well, the old pair is magnitude better. I will try to be careful with those so they may last a bit longer. It is very unfortunate that the quality is declined over the years.

Excelente calidad y SUPER precio.

Best polarized sport sunglasses
I first received a pair of Native sunglasses in 2013 and they’ve been thru a lot. They just wouldn’t die 😂. I’m hard on my stuff and the lenses were scratched. I purchased these ones to replace them but will keep my old ones for back up. They are narrow so measure before purchasing.

Disappointing
Too small. Don’t match the picture. Not what I expected from the photos. Disappointed overall
