Prefer This to Metal Bits for My Mare
Nice quality bit. I have an app mare who has a sensitive mouth. Had been riding her in a bitless bridle, but for competition I needed to put her back in a bit. She seems to have accepted this bit well and my dressage instructor said it was a nice quality and liked the fact that it is as gentle if not more so than my snaffle. Only issue is size can be tricky. My Happy Mouth full cheek snaffle is a 5" and it is almost a bit small for her. This dee ring copper roller in a 5 1/2" is almost a hair big. I have read on some sites that the full cheek can run 1/4" less than the size states so if I got the full cheek version in a 5 1/2" that may solve the issue. My mare does tend to chew on this so I just keep an eye on it and make sure none of the chew areas develop any sharp edges.

Comfortable training bit
Very comfortable bit; I bought it because my mare hates to have a bit knock against her teeth (and because she was anticipating, caused herself pain). This one has helped break the habit. It's also nice to ride with, copper roller and two joints makes it gentle, and the Dee ring, well it's a Dee ring, and those too are nice for starting horses.

Pony likes it
This is the type of bit used on the Welsh Pony I just bought. No complaints from the pony or myself!
