Drum kits take up a lot of space and are a big investment so unless you are sure your kids will love it and stick to it, it a big gamble.However, I stumbled upon these new electronic drums you can roll up and take up very little storage space.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these drums, firstly the mat is a thick rubber material that feels very strong and like it will last a considerable bashing.What my kids really love are the amount of sounds you can make with these drums. You simply change the drum style and you can go from classic to steel and many more.Like the old electronic keyboards you get some inbuilt melodies which you can drum along to.The speakers that come with the kit produce a good quality of sound, so you don't have to connect it to other equipment, although you do have the option to, so I'm guessing you could easily hook it up to an amp and use this at a small gig.You get drum sticks and 2 pedals for your kick drums and a battery which makes it portable.This got the big thumbs up approval from my daughter so it's a 5* for me.If you found my review useful please consider giving me a helpful vote and perhaps a follow for future reviews. Good sounding little drumkit for a 5 year old.Still getting used to it. Didn't want to get a full drum kit because of space and also didn't want to spend huge amounts of money incase he didn't show any interest.It is nice and portable, doesn't always need to be plugged in as it comes with a battery and sounds just like a normal drum kit.

The media could not be loaded.  For kids next to kareoke machine this drum set idea was great. Finally found where kids can use their build up energy.Machine itself is nice size, not to big and not to small, drum sections are nicely positioned.It can work with mains and also has internal flat rechargeable flat square battery. Easy to use and assemble, nice sound for beginners

My 8 year old enjoys annoying everyone with it. A bit gimmicky and lost appeal quite quickly, so a bit expensive unless you know you will really get the use out of it. Having said that, it is really top quality, great speakers, Bluetooth headphone options, and great sound selections

Was looking forward to getting this after reading reviews, was not disappointed. Bought this for grandson for Xmas he's7 as no room at his house for a big one.Wow delivery was so quick ordered yesterday received today.My grandson will be thrilled as he so much wants a drum kit because he wants to be like his grandad, I know he will get hours of fun out this kit.

This arrived today and I am impressed, very easy to set up and the sound quallity is great!Its just the right size, not too small or too large.The build quality seems very high (it does not feel cheap) very solid.I have to repeat the inbuilt speakers are very good loud volume and no ditortion!Excellent! (obviously its only just been used so we will see how it is in future but it seem great!)thank you Anpro-tek.
