On refurbishing our main bathroom, I wanted to replace all shower enclosure seals which had become yellowed with age and use, as the enclosure itself was in good condition. I couldn't find any bottom seals for the curved doors of the shower enclosure but it was claimed that these could be used straight or curved, just soften with hot water. This does not work adequately. I tried different water temperatures with both doors with the same result. The hotter the water, the more pliable the seal becomes and forms easily around the curve, however, as the material cools it tries to regain its original shape and so rotates towards the inside face of the door. Although they remain on the door, a gap is formed at the top of the seal (both internal and external) which will no doubt trap water and discolour quickly. Very expensive solution for replacement seals. If I had known the make of the doors I could have bought a replacement set for £25 (quoted from a plumbing suppliers for a well known brand) instead of paying approximately £20 for each seal (6). Very disappointed with this product and looking out for curved products.

Delivery was quick. Price is slightly lower than competitive seller's, but quality is poor. The flexible part which should be vertical on the attached picture, instead it is badly curled and in the wrong direction, killing the purpose of sealing. Even after 2 days of trying to curl it back still not much improvement.

This was hard to install and I had to use liquid soap but it is very secure.

Nice seal, but it states in heading for straight or curved doors! I have a curved door and it fits nice, but the run-off flap forms a slight wave in places thus not sealing fully. It may be due to a little stretch or deform in the plastic, hard to tell.Instead of returning, fitted to my dads straight door shower panel. Fits well.

The strip arrived very quick.I laid it on a radiator to warm and that made it easier to bend.It fitted perfectly,and it looks sofresh and clean, compared to the old one which was very discolored.A great buy.
