Anti-Nausea Acupressure Wristband for Motion Sickness, Child (Colors May Vary) (Child Band (4 Boxes))

TL;DR - these cured my nausea from 3D games.I've been a gamer all my life. I grew up loving 3D games, but as I grew into adulthood I slowly developed nausea when playing or even watching 3D video games. It finally got so bad I stopped playing 3D, and for years I limited myself to side scrollers. Then Skyrim came, and obviously nothing would stop me from playing it. I couldn't play more than 10 minutes without being overwhelmed by the nausea: flushed hot face, pressure in the stomach, abs clenching. Day after day I pushed myself a little further each time (more than once unintentionally causing myself to actually vomit), until finally I could play for a full hour before retreating in agony to lay down and breathe slowly. It may sound like hell to anyone reading this, but if you too love Skyrim then you understand my sacrifice.Flash forward to a few weeks ago: I started Elder Scrolls Online. Then a friend recommended Sea-Band to me. When I saw it on Amazon I thought it looked pretty fake. But I decided to try it. I don't know how to put into words the feeling I had for those first minutes of playing while wearing the Sea-Band wristbands. It was surreal, I was kind of in disbelief. The nausea was completely gone. I cautiously continued playing and felt fine, but I stopped myself after 30 minutes because I was afraid maybe the nausea was somehow delayed and would catch up to me, but it didn't. The next day I played for an hour. And the next day more. I finally accepted that I can now play as long as I want, just like in childhood.I waited weeks to write this review. I thought maybe the effect was a placebo that would wear off in time. Well, it hasn't lost its effectiveness one bit. I start up my game every night, and as it loads I take that time to slip on and adjust the wristbands. I play as much as I want, and when I stop I feel just as comfortable as when I started. I don't get even a hint of nausea.Because of how effective this Sea-Band is, I've been able to start using a technique I've been wishing to try for a long time: moving and looking around independently. This is a really important skill in 3D gaming, but as a kid I couldn't coordinate doing two things at the same time, and as an adult that technique has always made the nausea a million times worse. Now I'm able to use my bow and arrow to shoot at enemies while fleeing backwards. Don't judge! ;)So, thanks Sea-Band for allowing me to spend time in Tamriel without getting sick IRL!

I have bought this for the third time not because it is a great idea because I wear them 24 hours a day seven days a week I suffer from extreme vertigo and having these on I have no vertigo whatsoever they say not to wear them all the time but I say screw them if it works do it!

I don't know why when I check reviews for the Sea Band Ginger Gum I only see reviews for the acupressure band made by Sea Band, but this review is for the gum, not the band.My wife, who's in her 60's, gets unexplained nausea almost every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. It usually passes after a half hour and it has not caused vomiting, but her doctor can't explain why it happens and his anti-emetic prescriptions (Zofran, Zantac) did not seem to make a difference. She also tried Dramamine and peppermint extract, but neither made it go away any faster. However, this ginger gum seems to work very quickly and does the trick. Just one or two gum tablets and she feels fine soon after. She now carries them with her in her purse and so far (a couple of weeks) they've worked every time. We still can't explain the nausea but at least she can deal with it.

I get VERY sea sick and these worked like a CHARM during my cruise. Whenever I put them on, my nausea went away in minutes. When I took them off, I felt sick almost instantly. They do leave an imprint on your wrists but that is nothing compared to the relief they provide. I was skeptical of their effectiveness before buying but TRUST ME, they work wonders.

It’s all fun and games until you don’t leave your bathroom...thank goodness for these sea bands. I leave them on almost all the time (I take them off to shower and sometimes forget to put them back on after) and my body never takes long to remind me when I’ve forgotten. It doesn’t take away ALL the nausea, but they certainly serve their purpose in a safe, natural way. Perfect for pregnancy. If I could I’d give them an extra half star. Buy them!!

I use them to help me sleep at night. For the first time in months, I am able to return to sleep when I wake during the night. It's amazing how well they work for this purpose! I highly recommend trying them if you have trouble sleeping and don't want to take drugs.

My husband and I bought these for our cruise not knowing that they would be basically an icky sweatband with a uncomfortable ball on the inside of our wrist, so we absolutely didn't even bring them on our cruise.. BUT, now in pregnant and have been feeling so miserable that I can hardly get out of bed all day. And I randomly thought of putting this sea bands on and it's like magic!! I feel normal! So I totally suggest these for pregnancy hahaha!

I get motion sickness fairly easily and since I bought these I have not thrown up on a plane once! Between these bands and a ginger pill I feel ready to tackle a plane, boat, or long car trip.

Easy to use must put them on pulse point as instructions state or they will not be effective. Helped with nausea and balance issues from Chemo treatment, personally these should be purchased by anyone undergoing Chemo as they do help.

I am undecided as to whether these work for me, one problem I find is they keep slipping round so. are not between the two tendons. Open mind at the moment.

I really didn't believe this would work but I was dreading go away on a boat over night. I took both standard travel sick tablets and these and felt a bit light headed but did not have the urge to vomit. Took them off before I went to bed and had to imdetiadtly put them back on as I felt I'll with 1 minute

I purchased these for my 7 year old. Over the last few years, she has been getting car sick quite easily. These work amazing. To put it into perspective: Yesterday, we drove 27.2km and she was feeling sick between 10-15km. She did not have the bands on. We had to wait 5-10 minutes before entering a store because she still felt like she was going to be sick. Today, we drove 48.8km. She was wearing these bands. That's 21.6km more than the previous day. Almost double the amount of driving. She never felt sick once. We didn't have to wait in the car while she almost gets sick before entering a store. She was absolutely fine. When we took off the bands when we got home, they did leave some impressions on her wrist but she said she couldn't feel the bands and forgot she was wearing them. I will be purchasing another pair for my parents vehicle. Definitely recommend to anyone curious if they work. I would suggest to the manufacturer to change the band fabric to help not leave impressions around the wrist.
