I make mini albums and I did a test to see how many layers I can build, and if these magnets will hold. Well...2 magnets can do 3 layers of medium wt chipboard inbetween them! Heavy wt cardstock= no problem! I am fascinated and surprised with how well the closure is! I would say these are heavy duty and nice and thin. I like basic grey magnets but they're just not economical for my use. These are a great price for the amount you get. Will definitely buy more!

If you want to use these to make bookmarks (as I do), these are exactly right. They're very thin so they don't make a lump in the book when it's closed. They're strong enough to hold securely. I put a ribbon loop at the top of my bookmark so I can easily pull them straight up to remove them. If a magnet is too strong, you can rip the bookmark doing this, but these are just right!I make my bookmarks of paper, card stock, or bits of wallpaper, and these magnets work well with all of them.

Worked great on my pocket knife sheaths. Just the right amount of strength.

The size of the button magnet was great. You have to be careful though. It’s so thin that it can break apart easily if removed from the stack. When glued to a surface , it’s fine. I would definitely recommend it for crafts.

They can't quite go through 10 thicknesses of 110lb cardstock, but they can do 5! Very thin. Shipped with plastic discs separating the magnets so they are easier to get apart - very necessary! I'm not dissatisfied.

These work great but wishing they were a little bigger for more adhesive for my journal making. Other than that, not a bad product.

I have been looking for some thin but string magnets and these are perfect. I make photo albums and need magnets that can hold with thick cardstock in between. I will order these again!
