Excellent product, packaging that makes it easy to dispense. At the times when homeopathic products are pushed off the market and harder to find, cudos to Amazon for offering it to American buyers

Not certain what I am using here
I was frustrated by not being able to find Cratageus Oxycanthus for sale in the 3X potency (homeopathy) not realizing that interfering bureaucrats had deemed a prescription necessary for homeopathic hawthorn (but not for Hawthorne in its pure state -- go figure that one out). Have been using a herbal extract of Hawthorn for years, comes in a 1 oz. glass vial available in most grocery stores, drug stores, health stores....which does not require a prescription. When I purchased this product, it was partly out of curiosity, partly with thoughts of using the contents to produce a 3X potency. But then I read the bottle, which says Gemmo is made mostly from the new shoots and leaves. However, the traditional use of cratageus oxycanthus, Hawthorne, is the berries and flowers, which contain chemical factors which are not found in the shoots and leaves of the plant. The whole basis of Hawthorn's being helpful to the heart is those chemical factors. So, when we consume the Gemmo preparation, it seems to me that it is a whole different item. It may be good for the body in some way, but it seems it is not the Hawthorn that is a tonic for the heart. Can't hurt, it would appear, but OTOH, will not help for the specific use Hawthorn is known to provide. Can anybody comment in a helpful and informative way?

for a dog with heart murmur
This product was recommended to me to be used for my dog with heart murmur. He seems to have more energy but still waiting to see what happens over time. Overall I'm happy with it.
