works well for in my scenario. I have 6" stainless pipe going into a brick wall that had a 8" hole. This covers the 8" hole with no problem and is not too hard to fit over the 6" pipe

Size is wrong
Product looks good but does not fit 6 inch stove pipe. Will fit any pipe SMALLER than 6 inch.
