No. The stand fits perfectly. If you have the boom mic stand you will have to unmount and there's a side bag for it

I would say the top 2 pictures properly represent the bag. The third picture has more of a rectangular vs. rounded look. The bag has a rounded look, but the stand fits into it perfectly. I like the bag.
