Had to have this paint job.
I have to admit, i bought this bow because of the paint job. I like the zebra stripe-ish pattern. The bow is incredibly light weight with a short axle to axle length. Once i got it completely set up, i was pleasantly surprised how well it shoots for a short ATA bow. Plenty fast, dead in hand, and quiet. It is a joy to shoot. The draw cycle is a little rough on my old shoulders compared to my other bows but, its not a deal breaker.

Love this bow. The Bear Diverent is a powerful, compact, accurate compound bow. For this price I really don’t believe there is a better bow on the market. Price for product is Amazing!

Exactly what I expect years of loyalty to provide!
I've bow hunted for many years and then quit for about 5. Just got too busy. Getting back into it and realized just how heavy my old but treasured bow was. So I set out for a new one. A ton of research later and I landed on the Bear Divergent. My retired bow was a Fred Bear limited edition and never failed me. I feel this one won't either. After handling this 4 lbs bow it's fitting my near 60 year old body very well. Shoots flat and quiet. 60 ft/sec faster than my dearly beloved one. I am so glad I stuck with the Bear brand. Only real thing I miss is the wood clad handle that has a compass built into it. A bit of nostalgia for sure. I highly recommend this great set up. I also adorned it with nearly all Bear Trophy Ridge products. Can't go wrong.

Honestly I can't believe you get this much bow so far under a thousand dollars. Its short ATA of 28" is perfect IMO especially from a blind or climber. It is FAST, light at 3.9lbs and quiet! The Realtree Edge looks phenomenal as thats the bow color I chose. I was not expecting such a smooth draw cycle from such a short ATA, the valley is great and the back wall is a little more solid than some of the other Bears I have owned which I like ALOT! Over all Bear Archery's technology and innovation is growing fast and it shows in this bow specifically. They knocked it out of the park on this one! I am literarily in love with this bow! Thats not an easy thing to accomplish being a former Hoyt guy!
