Sabrent M.2 2280 SSD Rocket Heatsink (SB-HTSK)

Review after more than 20 days of usage, temperature came down by 5 to 8 degrees Celsius and it is very stable (Installed and tested on Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD and Gigabyte B360M D3H Motherboard).Installation is very easy, hardly took 10 mins, instructions also provided with small screw driver and screws.Packing was very good. Thanks to seller for genuine product.Heat sink is a must if you plan to extend life of M.2 SSD.

Gen 4 NVME SSDs run hot and they require a heatsink. This is probably the best heatsink in the market; a bit expensive, though; worth it.

Perfect for keeping the nvme drives running hot when no heatsink from mother board available. It brings down the temp from 80 to 58 and only hit peak 64 at times . Worth every penny keeps drive cool with no to minimal speed throttle as nand flash performance needed high temps

Very effective for heat dissipation, good looking and easy to install. But I think, it's bit pricey.

Fiquei ao menos 1 mês sem o dissipador, nesse meio tempo notei a temperatura de 60 graus no meu SN700 em um dia bastante quente. Agora em dias quentes - como hoje - beira os 40 graus, algo bastante seguro se pensar que os NVme esquentam bastante por natureza.

Added the Sabrent heatsink to a new Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe m.2 2TB drive on my ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero motherboard. Very high quality craftsmanship, looks great and has doesn’t feel cheap. Very easy to install.Performance - I ran benchmarks prior to installing and then after, the m.2 drive saw a decrease of 5* C (average). This is a 13% decrease in temp for the Samsung NVMe m.2 drive, no other changes made to the PC’s airflow. Very please with the improved cooling.As others mentioned, depending on PCIe slots, it can be a tight fit. It barely cleared the latches for the last slot on my mobo. The m.2 slot on the ASUS CH7 is directly underneath the graphic card as well. While I had clearance, a thicker GPU might cause issues. Lastly, since my mobo has the m.2 underneath the GPU, I can’t visually see the new heatsink. That’s due to layout of the ASUS mobo, not the heatsink. Not a big deal, I know it’s working due to my test pulls.

Volevo una penna USB da 1TB veloce, affidabile, robusta, dove poter trasferire Giga di file in poco tempo e senza preoccuparmi che la pen USB si surriscaldi. Ho cercato in rete ed in Amazon confrontando penne USB da 1TB di vari Brand. Nulla arriva alla velocità di scrittura di una SSD M2, così ho pensato di rendere portable una SSD M2. Ho acquistato su Amazon la Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 Velocità di lettura/scrittura 3.500/3.300 MB/s. Sempre su Amazon il Case iDsonix SSD M.2 NVMe to USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps e sempre su Amazon il dissipatore SABRENT SSD M.2 2280. Ovviamente è più grande di una pen USB, ma anche le caratteristiche sono maggiori di una classica pen USB. I colleghi sono rimasti stupiti nel vedere la mia nuova magnifica potente pen USB, ed ancora più stupiti quando l'ho provata su USB 3.0, non credevano ai loro occhi vedendo la velocità con cui scrive, per poi sgranare gli ochhi nel vedere la velocità con cui legge. Impossibile paragonare con le loro classiche pen USB. Il tutto l'ho pagato €147 e sono contentissima. Potete fare l'invidia dei vostri colleghi.

Kullandığım NVMe SSD artık aşırı sıcaktan dolayı acı çekmiyor, fanlı soğutucuların arkasında kalsa da pasif soğutmada bu kadar ufak bi' boyuta rağmen çok iyi çalışıyor ve de sistemdeki o estetik boşluğu kapatıyor. Kurulumu çok kolay ve yanında kendi ufak tornavidasıyla beraber geliyor, vida yuvalarının konumu da hata yapma payınızı sıfıra indiriyor.
