Baby Bathtub Spout Guard Cover Faucet Safety Cover for Baby or Toddler Gray

This is our second time to purchase this item. The first one fit the faucet and stayed perfectly in place always. It saved our baby from many head bumps in the tub. After years of use we thought he had outgrown the need for it so I donated it to a thrift store. Two head bumps on the faucet later I came on to Amazon to order it again. The new one slides off the faucet constantly. We put it on and it slowly starts to slide until finally coming off. We solved the problem by wrapping a rubber band around it a few times and it now stays put. It doesn't look very nice with a rubber band on our faucet but it's worth saving our child from head bumps when he's being a wild kid in the tub.

My 11 month old is getting brave and wanting to try and walk in the bath. I got this to help in case he was to fall, which he ended up falling into it and not a bump or scratch on his face! The size is perfect. I was honestly dreading putting this one before I got it thinking it would be a tight fitting spout cover but it easily slips right on. It has slipped down a little, but not slipped enough that I’d be worried it’ll just slip right off if one of my kids was to gently pull it.

Work great, my son is 2 and very active. This has saved him from some bad bonks. Also super cute.

Works well and actually fits! However, if you let it just sit on the spout, it will get moldy, so it is a bit annoying that you have to remove it after every bath.

This is the second time I have purchased this item. I loved the first and it is still going strong, ordered a second since now we have another bathtub. Recommend to many others. It is stylish and is a softer material that will protect from head and shoulder bumps from my kids. So much better then the kids whales and what not that are a hard plastic and no better then the faucet itself.

No bumped heads Fits on easily. Baby can not pull it off. He is a year old now and wants to pull on everything. Made of silicon :) in China :( I would pay more if there were an alternative as I do not support slave labor, child labor, sketchy labor practices or their country actively working to destabilize ours. I am not saying this product or company does these things, but I can not verify it to be otherwise as it is so common. I am pleased with the product.

I wanted to like this a lot. I love the plain design and neutral color. I don’t want something that looks like a toy to get my baby’s attention! But it constantly slips off the faucet, which makes my baby want to play with it. It slips down into the water stream so I’m always fussing with it. Still, it does protect my baby from the sharp faucet edges and the material seems strong.

I purchased this for use in a group home setting where age appropriateness is important. I really liked the look of it as it's simply a pipe; not boy, girl, or baby. It slid right on the spout easily, stayed in place, cushioned any bumps, and kept stray legs from scratches during transfers in and out of the bathtub. It isn't a tight fit which made application easy and doesn't interfere with look or use. It's a somewhat thin silicone but surprisingly very effective.

It's hard to shop for spout covers online as you can never tell how protective the bottom is. This Ubbi spout guard was an easy yes for us! It looks just like a boring old spout when installed, which is exactly what we wanted as we were looking for something not cute so our little one wouldn't be more drawn to the spout/potential injury. It is made of silicone, but doesn't feel like it would easily get hair/fur/dust stuck on it. A huge draw is also that it is dishwasher safe! So when you want a little deep cleaning before any mildew sets, the dishwasher can take care of it for you. Huge bonus when already short on cleaning time due to little humans. Included are pics of our tub spout before and after installation for those that are wondering if this might be a good fit. We weren't sure before purchasing, but we're so glad we gave it a go! Would recommend!

Fits the tap well enough to do the job it's made for even though the tap is a bit of an awkward shape. Has saved my child from a few bumps on the head. Can't fault it at all.

Dont buy this unless your tap is huge. Dont understand how anyone would think this is acceptable. (perfect fit) what a waste of money

Ne vas pas du tout sur un robinet de bain standard. Totalement inutile ! Pour que cela fonctionne il faudrait un robinet encastré au mur sans tuyauterie apparente ni le levier dessus pour ouvrir et fermer l'eau.
