Picks Up Right Where Part One Left Off
This review is very similar to my previous review of White Trash Gothic part one. If you are a fan of Edward Lee, you will love this as he is firing on all cylinders. But if you are not used to the non-PC, ultra violent, gore-filled, disgustingly descriptive, misogynistic, but done in a tongue-cheek, humorous way, then this book is not for you. Also, it is highly advised to read the first book before diving into this, as readers will be utterly confused as to what is going on without the backstory of the first book. Looking forward to reading the third and final entry in Lee's entertaining trilogy, which is one of my favorite guilty pleasure reads of the past few years.

Even better than part one
As you can see on the cover, this is part two of the White Trash Gothic saga. It is not an independent tale, you must read the previous book before venturing into this volume. This novel continues right where the earlier one left off. The Writer and his two voluptuous sidekick drive to the Crafter mansion to do the biddings of the doppelganger. The brave vigilante Larkins brothers have a greater role in part 2, not just as characters in the visions of the Writer. And of course the scenes of a certain revenant will also give the hungry reader some creatively written juicy and gross bits.Part two is even better than the previous installation, no need to exposition in this one, we already know the characters and the background so the action and adventure can start instantly. There is a really shocking ending, but the tale is left hanging again - at least until we can get our hands on part three!

Welcome back to Luntville, West Virginia!
First thing, note that this book ends abruptly and so we all have to wait for part 3 to wind it all up. Actually - I’d argue that this book is part 3 of a 4 part series that begins with _The Bighead_, followed by _White Trash Gothic_, _WTG 2_, and a hypothetical & currently unavailable _WTG 3_. Additionally, it contains various references to other parts of Lee’s literary universe. That said: it’s violent, self-indulgent, politically incorrect, too short, and, to be honest, it doesn’t really move the overall story forward a whole lot. But it’s pure fun of the type that only Lee delivers. Do you ever find yourself missing Luntville, WV? I know I do. Buying this is a no-brainer.

Author had fun with this one
I think it is safe to say that the author had fun with this story, tying together different characters from other works. The tongue in cheek humor fit well with the extreme horror.

The Bighead is back, baby!!
The godfather of spatterspunk is back, and in fine form here, with the sequel to White Trash Gothic...fittingly titled, White Trash Gothic 2, part 2. This one picks up right where we left off in the first, and then (somehow) ups the gross out humor to another level. If you're already a fan of Lee's, you will not be disappointed here...and if you are not a fan yet, buy part one at the same time as this one for even more fun. The rumors of Lee's talent for telling crazy stories of crazier people in the craziest situations are indeed true, and we are all the better for it.My lone nit pick....this book is too damn short. I guess that is why we'll be getting a part 3...and I for one cannot wait for it!

The things up is good, and then the ending. Can't wait for the next book. The poor Writer he is having an adventure of his life. Hope he gets to remember it if he lives through it.

Great
As usual another addition to Mr Lee's amazing collection. You can always guarantee an in depth horrifying novel that has you squirming inside but fully engrossed in every word. This is no exception and follows on from the previous book that you are more in tune with the characters. Another great read as.usual. Definitely recommend.

Good stuff
A brilliant second part to this saga with all the stuff you want from Lee. There is a part three on the way which I cannot wait to read.
