I used this stencil over top of another stencil to create a neat affect with the painting I was doing. It's kind of hard to tell in the photos but I used only the gold paint with this stencil. It was a little hard to get the thicker paint to cooperate with the stencil perfectly and it kinda of squished out behind the stencil a bit and made it look sloppy. However for this particular project I kinda like the look an honestly on the sections that happened on, I liked them the best as the gold really pops more there. It worked out really well and I plan to use it on another surface with a better application method (different brush and either different paint or possibly thin the gold paint a little) and see how that turns out. I do love the design, it's very pretty. Oh and the writing appears to repeat itself so if that's an issue for your project then avoid this but if you are ok with it, then go for it. The plastic material it's made out of is like a thick cardstock but plastic. It's easy to wipe down after use but be careful of the small pieces in the letters as they bend easily if you aren't careful (ask me how I know this.... Lol I have a few bent ones from when I was rushing) overall it's cute, stood up well to my repeated usage and I enjoy the size (about the size of a piece of paper).

The stencil is smaller cursive so you have to apply the paint carefully but it is very pretty

Stencil itself was very nice. The only thing I can say negative is that there was a great big sticker on it that said DO NOT FOLD. And IT CAME FOLDED. it was not creased but a gentle roll fold so, I with a little effort I was able to flatten it out.

The plastic is very good quality. I’m very pleased with it.

The stencil lines are a little too thin, so when you brush paint in, it doesn't look much like letters. Looks more like rows of smudges.

I needed something in the background of a piece of furniture I painted. This is about the size of a piece of paoer. It was a affordable choice. The stencil was not super clear. I used gold wax instead of paint. But I didn't mind any smears because it added to the vintage look. I plan to use it on my next project.
