Although this is a shortie mattress, it was bought for an adult to sleep on. Most mattresses this size are designed for children so were either too thin or soft/medium. As an adult with pain, I needed a thicker mattress and a firm type. This is brilliant. Its very comfortable, really nice to sleep on and dont get any back pain with it. For anybody with room size issues (like me) where you need shorter beds but still need adult quality and support, I recommend this. Brilliant value for money

Nice look to it & does the job. Springs can make a bit of noise when you shift your weight

This replaced an old mattress from a trundle bed (a bed stored underneath a single bed) so it was important to get the size right. My visitors have said that it is very comfortable.

Seemed a little too warm on first use,but either we or the mattresses acclimatized within 2 or 3 days. Very comfortable and good quality of manufacture.Wife reports that her dodgy hip is much better on mattress than on previous double,and I ,with prostate cancer,am getting up in the night 3 times rather than my accustomed 4

It came in a tacky dirty ripped box. The plastic cover looked old. The mattress looked like an old one with funny material covering it. It is nine inches deep. It's the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. Don't go by looks alone. I highly recommend it and would buy again.
