Simple construction, despite 3yrs of use the clip still has a nice hard click into place. Pen holder is very convenient if you like to have extra pens on hand. Fits full size 8.5x11 inside. Recommended it to everyone in my clinic! Only disclaimer, the little plastic corner pieces on the metal clamp have popped off of mine at times, I glued them on about a year ago and they've stayed on since.

Coming from a 2 inch thick square metal clipboard with plenty of room I’m very pleased. My main reason for the switch was to look for round corners as a square metal clipboard will scratch dashboards and seats as this is used daily for work as an inspector. Very lightweight, clip on top lost the rubber corner guards the first day but they are dumb anyways. Enough room inside for a week worthy of papers for a person using 5-7 pages per day. Perhaps more. My main concern is durability. The part that hinges up top is plastic and while going strong now, I would like to get year(s)...I hope...of use it worries me that I won’t make it. Plastic clasp at the bottom used to close the clipboard also in question but this is all in theory. Good board, going strong months into the purchase for daily use.

Nice little clipboard with added storage - just enough to stash some papers, pen, and a cell phone - good for doing inspections at work, and there's a hole on back so you can hang it on a hook. So far, latch works reliably and serves my needs perfectly.

This is such a great work tool to have! It is sturdy, holds paper, pencils or pens, and can be used as a writing desk surface when not at a table. It looks professional.

I have had this 3+ years now. I am a delivery driver. The clipboard remains in my truck. I keep my day's delivery list on it. The clipboard rests on the floor between the seats of my van and I will grab it periodically throughout the day making notes, making adjustments in sequence and crossing things off. I do not take it out of the truck as I make a delivery. I am careful with it. It does not receive rough or abusive handling. All things considered, the back (bottom) has a long crack, corners and edges are cracked with small pieces broken off and one of the black grippy things which helps to hold the papers "clipped" in place has fallen off and been lost. I have papers and a coil-bound booklet and a spare pen in the compartment. It is not over-stuffed. It is filled with typical things. The latch is about 65% reliable at this point in time. I need to replace it. I was not planning to buy this item again because the plastic is not "break resistant" however after reading about the plastic of so many other alternatives being too thin and flexing when you write on them I decided I would replace mine with this same product. A pro vs. con is that the plastic on this one is thick enough that it does not flex when you write on clipped paper. If anything it might be somewhat brittle but I prefer that to so flimsy and thin it would flex in use.

I like my Sunnyclip clipboard very much. It has a durable hinge top that opens like a book so you can access your writing paper inside. The clipboard also has a slimline storage compartment to hold your pens do they don’t get lost. You can use your clipboard as a handy lap desk and go mobile to write while at the park or your favorite cafe setting. The only improvement I added is a narrow elastic rubber band that I use to hold the bottom edge of my page so that no air current can move the page around. I have a simple easy solution to use to write while away from home. Thank you.

This clipboard is made of attractive, durable plastic. I love the padded clip that does not leave marks on the paper. I like the fact that there is an inside stash space that holds about 30 sheets of paper and has an indented space for a pen or pencil. Also, the clip that closes it, doubles as a balance when open so that you can use the clipboard in an upright position without the need to lean it against another object and it prevents it from sliding all over the place. This feature is perfect when I am entering data onto a spreadsheet from a paper I have clipped to the board. It allows me to be mobile and to get work done when I need to be out of my home office. I can just grab my laptop and clipboard and set it up anywhere I need to be. Even while waiting for an oil change while at the garage! I really like this clipboard and its functionality. I highly recommend it.

The shelf that holds my keyboard fell apart. I can't fix it, so I'm forced to have the keyboard on the desk surface. I'm still able to use my computer with ease (once I got used to the keyboard being higher up than I'm used to) but I lost the writing surface I need for writing by hand. This clipboard is perfect - quite an improvement over the basic clipboard I've always had hanging around for when I need it. I even took it with me on my first visit to a new doctor. Filling out the forms there was so much easier with my new clipboard. And it's also handy for bringing home the printed material given to me by the doctor! (I'm not bright enough to fix my computer shelf and certainly not smart enough to use those Patient Portals on the computer!)

Convenient to hold papers and pen inside. Light weight. A bit over priced.
