Easy to use
I’ve bought this along with a liquid version of the product. I know the liquid version is working as I can see a change in growth and colour. These granules are intended for long term use so it’s difficult to judge whether they’re working until some months have passed. They’re quite smelly when you open the box, but there’s no smell from the ground. I’ve used a disposable glove and sprinkled a handful around fruit trees and bushes and don’t need to feed again for about three months. I’m confident they’re going to improve growth and yield.

Good results.
I am always very skeptical of these miracle grow things, but I grow chill's and peppers not loads but always the same ones so I know them quite well. This year I thought I would try this out, I am surprised how much bigger they all grew, some even had far more peppers on them. I did not follow the instructions and they had far less than it said on the packet but it worked. Next year I may increase the amount and will see if it makes a difference.

This stuff smells disgusting
I’m not a fan, but that’s because I now prefer a liquid feed. I found these pellets messy to use and they linger on top of the soil as a smelly, mushy mess. I know this won’t be a problem for most, but my chickens tried to eat the pellets and kept prancing over the raised flower beds thinking dinner was served. The product also smells really badly - so strong, that the packet has been moved form the greenhouse to the garage. I’ve gone back to liquid feed so I’m not sure if my plants would have grown better with this product.

Organic vegan fertiliser
Most slow release (i.e. solid) organic fertilisers trend to be animal based. Really pleased to have found this vegan/ vegetarian friendly organic fertiliser. This one is seaweed based. Yes it smells but no worse than a typical animal based fertiliser such as blood, fish and bonemeal, plus the smell quickly goes away not to long after application. I've been using this for a few months on fruit and vegetable plants and so far the results have been good. The NPK ratio is is 8-5-5 so the high Nitrogen is particularly suited to leafy plants. Best to work into the soil at the time of planting and that way it slow releases and nourishes the plant over time.
