Large Lamps for the Living Room
We looked at many lamps before deciding on these. The are beautiful, functional and the 4 cornered base is heavy and stable so there is no worry they will tip over easily. They are advertised as 3-way but there is a sticker on the lamp that reads use a "60 watt bulb". We use the 3 way and it works fine. The lamps arrived safely intact and exactly as shown on the website. It's true they are pricey at 149.99 each. However, we've noticed that the price of new lamps has gone up in the last few years and we needed something tall (32 inches) that would light well on each end table because there is so much vertical space in our living room. These did not disappoint. They are made of resin, so you must be careful in how to handle them so they don't chip. The gold leaf design is a "natural look" but stunning because of the warmth of the lamps' gold color . The shades are gorgeous- have you priced shades lately? These complement the lamps beautifully and throw off a warm glow while still providing excellent lighting to read byand to light up the whole room. Met all our requirements for indoor lighting and just love these lamps.

NOT fully painted, arrived with awful RECTANGULAR lampshade (looks circular in the 1 pic) 3 way lighting already dysfunctional.
NOT completely painted, 3 way lighting system (as another mentioned) stop working after several weeks and the RECTANGULAR shaped lampshade is terrible looking with it. It looks circular in the only photo shown not to mention it took SO LONG to arrive.

Great lamps
I love these lamps. They go perfectly in my new living room. The shades are especially nice. I'm not sure the photo shows it, but they are rectangular.

Like the Stylish Lamp, It's the Bulbs I Dislike
The precise measurement of the base is: 8-1/4 inch wide at the top (shoulder) and 7-1/2 inch wide at the bottom. The overall height of the base is approx. 20 inches high, up to the bronze neck.I like the lamps. I don't like the bulbs that came with them. They are not "dimmable." Yet, I replaced them with a bulb that says dimmable on the package -- but the dimmer switch I ordered from Amazon makes the bulb flash off and on. I'm going nuts with these modern bulbs. Is the source from the dimmer switch, the bulb, or the lamp??
