We have an active dog who enjoys taking the opportunity to stay outside for a little while. Living in the country, we have always allowed her to run freely in the area until she decided to wander too far. Now she can run around to burn off energy without us worrying about someone taking her.I was almost convinced that this would be a bad idea or not a durable solution. Those fears are in the past now and she has put the testing to the strength. I read reviews of broken clips and snapped lines, but am convinced that those situations were not accurate. If a bigger dog was tied up with this, maybe, but for our 30 lbs dog, this is plenty strong.

The cable and additional hardware are a bit better in quality than the kits you'll find at your local hardware chain, in my opinion.Still I had a part break pretty quickly (cable sheathing and loop fastener i think). My dog is well below the rated weight for the product, but is rambunctious. Anyway, I didn't expect much from customer service when I reached out through the Amazon messaging service with the merchant. But they responded quickly every time and worked efficiently to completely solve my issue. I was blown away by their friendliness and helpfulness. If you take anything away from this review, let it be this last part.

Very easy to set up in my yard. Time will test the durability and my dog will test it sturdiness in the feature. Update to come.

Shipped quickly. All parts present. Good quality. Gives my female lab the ability to run and play. She is now able to spend more time outside.

Already had two carabiners fail and plastic cable cover come off. Not impressed by quality.

This was easy for me to install- I have mine hooked up to a tree which is awesome so you can put this any ware. I have the 100ft one. Super fricking long. I’m not even using the whole thing but I love having that option. Make sure you have a little ranch thing for the little screws. It didn’t come with one. Super fast shipping. Came in great tact. Easy instructions. My dog is cruising on it.

I received the tie out runner on 8/6/22, but since this was one of the worst summers for mosquitoes, and you couldn't go outside without being swarmed by them, I didn't install it right away. Now that mosquitos are no longer a problem I started to figure out the installation points, but realized that my plan to give my dog plenty of room to move (100 ft. line) doesn't work with the dimensions and surface configuration of my yard. That's kind of embarrassing but that's what happened! I even contacted an Amazon rep thinking Amazon would allow me to return/exchange the still packaged (still in the delivery envelope!) tie out, but was told that there is no way to return or exchange this because the return window closed.

This is actually the best thing ever, I have tried everything to keep my husky happy without her being able to run off and adventure on her own. Our dog has snapped probably half a dozen ties this year, not this one! It’s fairly easy to set up, but you will need a couple tools.The only place it lost a star for me, is that I cannot manage to keep tension on the lines. It does not, by any means make the system inoperable, it just requires going out every few weeks and retightening it. It’s a small price to pay for a happy husky who is confidently contained!
