Soft backing for lots of flex and long life; super-hard RC 64-66 teeth to keep on cutting long after others go dull; take higher tension for straighter, more accurate cuts. Slightly higher priced but much better than ordinary carbon blades.

My first choice
This blade has always performed great for my Jet. I have used the timeberwolf blade and it was definitely good but I cannot say superior to this blade. This is the right price/value/performance ratio for me and I use my band saw several times each week as I make many band saw type boxes for selling at local craft shows.
