Used with toggle bolts, they are sturdy.
They hold up well. I used them to fasten a heavy mirror to a sheet rock wall at a no stud area using toggle bolts.

This is what you're looking for
I recently acquired a 32 lb mirror, the former owner had mounted a wood panel to the wall in order to hang this securely, this has some weight to it.I wasn't about to start blocking the wall: one screw in a stud, the other I used a wing toggle: this isn't going anywhere. The metal has a nice thickness to it, and the hole accommodates a screw/bolt of decent thickness without needing to enlarge.

Super strong!
This was exactly what I was looking for! All I could find in the hardware store were wimpy picture hanging hooks. I eventually found "zinc picture hooks" or something that was similar to this, but not as robust. These are pretty serious steel hooks.I had to slightly enlarge the hole to be 3/16" for my pop-rivets. I just used a 3/16" drill and held the hook with pliers and it worked well enough.I was able to attach these to some acoustic panels I built so I could hang them from shelving rails (Freedom Rails). I used pop-rivets since the panels have aluminum frames. These were exactly what I was looking for for, it just took me soooo long to find them. That is why I am so excited by them :)

Great hooks for hanging heavy pictures and mirrors
I had sturdy hooks like these before, but cannot find them at Lowes or Home Depot. These will not take real large screws - #10 is about the largest, but work well with drywall toggle bolts or plastic inserts into masonry.

A strong hanger, which can be used in a variety of situations
The hanger can be used in conjunction with any sort of screw that's put into the wall, plastic sink, toggle bolt, etc. Therefore, it's indefensible for hanging heavy items into any kind of wall surface.

great
Very sturdy and easy to use. I had a 45 pound item to hang and this was the only hook I could find to do the job. It worked great.

Very sturdy, hole fits up to a #10 screw
Very thick, sturdy, confidence inspiring. The strongest screw-in hooks of this type / size I've seen. The hole is big enough for a #8 or #10 screw. It's not big enough for a Wall Dog screw without drilling it out, which is unfortunate because that would be a very good combination. I'll probably drill out half of these for this purpose.
