Finally, after trying several "waterproof" tapes, this one worked!I needed to protect my hot tub control panel from water leaking in. The plastic cover that had protected it cane loose. The tape needed to be waterproof and clear so I could read the buttons on the panel. None worked. They were either too cloudy to see buttons when applied or the adhesive was so thick it didn't stick. Then I bought this tape. Ta da! Not only does it stick to the surface I can read the buttons with clarity. I recommend this highly

This tape works great to do small repair on my inflatable outdoor decorations. It's indeed transparent and quite strong too. So, you will need a good pair of scissor to cut it. I am in California though, so I don't know if it will hold well under the rain, as we don't have much here, but so far the heat seems to not have any negative effect on my patches, which is good.Only wish that for the price, there will be more tape in the roll though.

Originally I purchased a roll of this tape because it was the most convenient pick out of all the tapes at the hardware store. I needed some wide strips of tape in order to seal up the windows on my greenhouse and keep the cold wind from blowing open the windows.After more than a month of snow, cold, hurricane force winds, and varied temp weather. Its still going strong, and none of it has lifted up.Along with being tough, wide, and sticky, its also easy to tear into sections. The edges are perforated in a zig-zag shape which makes it very easy to rip across in sections without the need for a scissors or knife. Which means if you are holding the tape with one hand, and placing it with the other, it wont tangle and get stuck to itself.Overall I would recommend this product. Its Weather Proof to a reasonable extent. Easy to work with. And Clear. So its almost entire invisible at first glance.
