Star Brite Basement Odor Eliminator - Fast Acting Vapor Technolgy

I am exceedingly pleased. I had some water backup last fall when my sump pump went out. I cleaned the basement, I discarded anything that was exposed to moisture that I could not salvage. This spring with the additional moisture in the air I discovered I did not get everything. I removed a few boxes and some wood from shelving that began molding. I was stuck with the smell. I tried cleaning the areas again. I tried buckets of vinegar. I tried some detergent bead, I tried odor eaters from the store, I tried opening windows, fans, baking soda....I tried a lot.I ordered this and within 24 hours the smell was gone. It just smelled like a basement, but nothing else. Afterward I put activated charcoal bags around the basement to keep the odor dead. It worked so well I have been thinking about doing this in the long lasting treatment method just in case.You have to get rid of the cause of the odor. Or the smell will eventually return.This is easy to use. The instructions are very clear.I was really happy how it worked for us.

I bought this product to remove the musty odor of my basement. I used the packet on the 'slow-release' method, and in just 2 days the odor was gone! It completely eliminated that damp, musty smell from my basement. The smell could be slightly smelled in the rest of the house, but now the house smells fresh and clean. This product is amazing, it does not mask the odor by covering it up with a different scent, it actually eliminates the odor. I have ordered a second one to place in my crawlspace.

I used it in my crawl space. Since it was 1400 sqft. I used 2. I set one on fast acting and one for slow release. No more musty smell works as promised. Very satisfied. Wife is happy.

IMHO ... Need to double up or purchase larger size to effectively cover recommended area.

We're renting a house and started to notice a hint of must in the basement. Bought this and it k knlcked it out in less than 24 hours. A+++++

I also use this because of the storage area along with Kitty and her living space. She is a very Private Kitty. I put it in the microwave sometime to bring it back to life. Not real hot to burn but to warm.

I didnt like the set up process but it did work well once it was set up.
