These ProPOW bulbs have the greatest number of colors short of smart bulbs without the disconnection and breakdown issues that many report having with smart bulbs and other color changing bulbs. There are several errors in reviews and questions answered that need correction. You do not need an expensive CR2 battery. The only battery necessary is a CR2025 button battery for the remote, which it comes with. Also, operational instructions are included for using the remote. I will give you more detailed instructions for those who may not have received them. The bulb screws into standard sockets. Turn the electrical power on. Then press the Red On button on the top left of the remote. Pressing the middle button on the top row turns on the bright white setting, or the button below that turns on the dim white night light setting. Using the up or down arrows in the third row gives you 5 brightness settings going from the night light to and from the bright white. To choose a color you must start with the red, green, or blue buttons on the top of the vertical color bars on the last row of the remote. Then press the green, blue, or red buttons below the button you pressed to choose a color in between them. There are 40 settings on each bar. You can hold the top or bottom bar button to change between them more quickly. It is difficult to press either button fast enough to see that there are 40 different different color settings. To save your favorite colors other than the red, green, and blue that you always have quick access to, with the light on press the number 1, 2, or 3 key. Then choose the red, green, or blue button and adjust to the color you want with the color button below it. Pressing any non-color button or the off button will save it. You will then see your color whenever you press the number key, unless you press a color key after choosing it, which will change your setting. Any single color displayed may be brightened or dimmed with the up and down buttons. All single colors chosen after that will be displayed at that brightness level including your saved colors until you change to brightness level again. You can program the bulb to blink between a selection of colors. With the light on, hold the D button on the second row until the light turns off in a few seconds. In the order you want, press red, green, or blue button on the top of each bar, or the 1, 2, or 3 buttons with your saved colors, or the night light or bright white button. You may press up to 10 times, repeating any of these buttons you wish. Then press the D button again to save the program. Pressing the D button will cycle through the colors you chose and is saved even with a power failure, as are your saved colors. The cycling colors are always displayed at maximum brightness. Pressing the up and down arrows during the cycling changes the rate of cycling with 5 different speeds. I would have liked separate buttons for speed and brightness for more playback choices, and could have used about two more color saving buttons. The S button on the third row cycles smoothly through all 120 colors in about 20 seconds. Sadly, you cannot change the brightness or speed. After pressing the On button after the Off button returns you to whatever the bulb was last doing. If you switch off the electrical power to the bulb it will also come back on to the last setting when on. Switching the power on and off within 5 seconds cycles between the last setting, the bright white, and the night light white. This is a nice feature if you wish to place the bulb out of easy access for the remote but have a wall switch and can settle for only your favorite setting. The timer button on the end of the second row adds one hour for each press verified by an off/on blink before the light shuts off, up to 12 hours as shown by the number of blinks. Pressing any other button after that cancels the timer. It is the bulb that saves the settings. Using another remote if you bought more than one bulb chooses the saved settings of that bulb, not what that remote was last used for. Many of the 120 colors are very similar. By combining only two colors at a time as all color bulbs seem to do, and having only five brightness levels, you won't get colors like brown, deep purple, gold, silver, and others. The colors you actually get are limited to variations of red, green, blue, orange, yellow, violet, pink, and cyan. I am greatly enjoying these bulbs.

I got this basically to be able to turn off and on a light in my bedroom when I go to sleep or wake up, or to just have a soft light on like a nightlight if I need it in the night. It works, and that is nice.However, the more complicated functions are confusing. To hear some of these reviews you'd think these bulbs will do anything and are nothing short of miraculous. They are pretty cool, and useful, but the remotes are too complicated - but you can get a basic bulb in a primary color and others with a little fiddling.I'm liking it, and assuming it lasts for a while, I'll rate it a 4/5Really do not like the remote.

We love it, use it everyday and our kids live changing the color.

I would say that these are a great alternative to LED light strips. All I had to do was screw in the light bulb & bam! I included images of the light in the settings of red, green, blue, and on the white/normal light setting. You can definitely adjust the colors to different shades such as yellow, purple, and light blue. My main concern when buying this product was that it wouldn’t light up the room, but for just 1 lightbulb I think it did a very good job. It comes with two light bulbs, two remotes, and an instruction manual. Definitely more bang for your buck. The remote is easy to use & it is very easy to switch colors and shades. There is nothing difficult about this product & very self explanatory and definitely recommend. During the day, you probably won’t see much color, but that’s just like any other lightbulb lol. Red is definitely the strongest shade in my opinion, but the others are just a tad lighter which is obviously due to them being different, cooler shades. My suggestion to decide if this is right for you is just to check the wattage of your light bulb to make sure it’s 60W. Other than that, definitely give it a try!

Really enjoying having these in a lamp in the living room. Depending on the mood we can have the lights on a lot of different settings. I really enjoy the dimmer.

The media could not be loaded.  Love it more eyes relax since hubby passed five months ago too much anxiety etc while use colors I read FB or games until eyes tired easy I high recommend about it
