Can the colorful lights be turned on & off while the music is playing?

Mine is brand new and wont hold a charge, has anyone else had this issue?

Maybe mine too. It doesn't help that the instructions dont specify if it has to be turned on to charge or not because the charge indicator (red or blue) does not even turn on unless the box is powered on. I have had it plugged in for hours now and the light is still red when I power it on. Maybe if they spent less time on the flashy lights and more time on the charging system they would get fewer returns and complaints.

If I use the sxm app on my phone. Can I change the volume of the speakers or does it run off the volume of my phone

I am able to turn up the volume on my phone and then also on the "boom~box" to make it blast my Worship music even louder. HalleluYah. All praises to the Most High Yaweh for this Blessing.
