Oh, my goodness! this is such a beautiful book. The design on the cover, the colorful designs on the pages in addition to Rumi's beautiful poetry makes this book a treasure to be cherished. If your special someone loves poetry, this book would make an amazing gift. It's so nicely bound and presented. I absolutely love it. I've read Rumi before and once I saw this book, I knew that I had to have it for myself. Yep. Gifted myself! I will read this book during the spring rain, the beauty of golden autumn, the falling of crystal snowflakes and sultry summer days. It's a book for all seasons.

I bought the Friendship Poems, Love Poems, and Spiritual Poems versions of this book all at once, making it my first set of poetry books. And I love them. The poems are beautiful and insightful. As someone who is half Persian, reading these works gave me a sense of connection to my roots, which made the experience even more special.

This book is a wonderful compilation of Rumi love poems. Will get the other two for a set. Would make very nice gifts. The book is well laid out, good quality for a reasonable price and attractive to handle and read.

Wonderful book to read!

Not a good translation. It can be boring to read at time because most poems feel like sub titles underneath the foreign song. I have seen many translation of Rumi's poem and I would say that it does not matter if a person is Native to the language or not. It is very important how well the translator understands the words of the legend. I would rather read translation by faroukh Dhondy. Overall this book is only for showoff but as far as reading is concerned in my opinion it's not a good translation that you can understand and dive in to Rumi's wisdom and love. Rumi itself is mysterious and requires time to know his work. Rumi and Kabir's poem are 2 of my favorite books to read for real spiritual understanding. Please look for other translation and preferably check it at Barnes and Nobles or Public library before buying Rumi's poems because it all depends on how it's translated.

Rumi will inspire you to fall in love with the world again.

Beautiful collection of timeless poetry of Rumi. Really lovely edition, which suited as a birthday present. But please be aware that rather then the typical collection of love poems, as understood romantically in the west, this little book contains an utmost expression of the for the highest love in itself, by the lover Rumi, in love with all and by all.

The book is really nice, the cover looks and feels great, the design of the book is awesome and definitely a good read. I'm very content with my purchase.
