I bought a set of four for my son's birthday along with the Vodka, Ginger Beer and Limes for Moscow Mule drinks. He loved them! The quality and workmanship of these hand hammered classy copper mugs is awesome. Drinks are kept super cold. The mugs and handles are sturdy. I read CAMCROW's review and liked the fact that these mugs and other recycled copper products are made by local artisans and help support a local community's economy. "Jonathan is a small businessman from Austin, Texas, and all of his goods are made in a workshop in Michoacan, Mexico, by local craftsmen continuing the traditions of the region that are hundreds of years old. He has been working with the same copper artisans, in the same town, for over a decade. Furthermore, he is personally involved with the design of each product. These details mean a lot to me when I am deciding where to spend my money: a locally owned business working directly with traditional craftsmen using traditional methods, resulting in beautiful and unique items that stand out from the mass-produced and machined stuff.

I consider myself a moderate Moscow Mule connoisseur and have drunk from and owned many styles of copper mug. These are the nicest and best looking I've owned so far. The hammered metal, knurled lip and steel handle (on the 20oz mugs) look and feel excellent to drink from. I generally prefer a 16oz size mug for a good ice-to-drink ratio but the 20's keep you cooler longer ;) Maintenance wise these do tarnish a bit faster than coated mugs I've owned (Sertodo's are not coated), but coated mugs are for posers. Get the copper cream that Sertodo mentions on the website and you'll be good to go - shines em right back to new with minimal effort. Even the coated mugs eventually tarnish and then continue to tarnish quickly after the first major cleaning so just understand that it's the way of copperware. Best practice is to always clean and fully dry your mugs immediately after use but after an evening of drinking mules you sometimes don't get around to cleaning them til the next day.

Probably the best copper Moscow Mule mugs on Amazon's site. Definitely get the "18"/"20" ounce (while the description states "18oz.", the box stated "20oz."). A difference of 2oz. doesn't matter when you're taking about mugs this nice. Plus, I liked the stainless steel handle on the "18/20oz." mugs; it's a very distinctive touch, and functional as well---the stainless steel doesn't freeze up like the copper does, and the handles are solidly tig welded to the mug---those babies are never coming off. They're heavy, solid, and perfectly hammered & constructed. As for the taste? Night & day, between using a glass and a copper mug; usually, it's the glass that's king; not this time; the copper just somehow enhances the particular ingredients of a Moscow Mule, especially the ginger beer & lime, plus loads of ice, maybe a sprig of mint. Two things to look out for---I've noticed a few people have received knockoffs of these mugs. Just make sure of two things: order them straight from Sertodo, through Amazon Fulfillment; make sure the Sertodo label is on the package, and then make sure the mugs have Sertodo's stamp on the bottom. They're even packaged impeccably! Then you're good to go! Enjoy!

Items arrived on time for a father's day gift. The product looks nice but I was disappointed by the misrepresentation of the size of the mug. I ordered 4 20 oz mug and can barely pour a 16 oz bottle of water in the mug. It will definitely not hold 20 oz of fluid so it should not be listed as such. It is overflowing with 18 oz of fluid.

A few years ago, I was introduced to the Moscow Mule at a local bar. You had to place a $30 deposit before receiving your Moscow Mule in case you happen to take the copper cup with you! The bartender explained to me that the most important thing about a good Moscow Mule is the copper cup is copper lined. A group of friends and I each purchased a copper mug online and unfortunately the mugs were nickel lined. The Moscow Mule didn't taste right. At that moment, I promised myself that when the right copper mug set came along, I would purchase them. About a month ago, Amazon had the Sertodo Copper Moscow Mule Mugs on sale. I purchased the 20 oz. size and was delighted when I opened each mug. Theses mugs are beautiful. A true work of art. The craftsmanship is impressive and these are mugs that you would be proud to display in your home bar, hutch, or cabinets. My friends were so impressed with them and this is proof that you get what you pay for. These mugs are not inexpensive and not something you will find at Target. These mugs are high-end, top quality mugs that you will enjoy for years to come. I highly recommend these beautiful mugs. Cheers!

I've purchased every kind of copper mugs there are, over the years, and I like these the best. They are large, well made, the handle is sturdy, the shape is good (much better than the "barrel" shape of others, I think) and they are produced with care and a sense of history. They are very, very easy to keep looking nice, with a swipe now and then of copper cleaner. Friends and family use theirs for alcoholic drinks, I use mine for iced tea, soft drinks and soda water with lime. The other brands of copper mugs are OK too. They'll work fine, especially if cost is the primary factor. Without a side by side comparison, any copper mug is a unique item and fun to use. But, over a lifetime, the relatively small amount of extra money for these is well worth it.

Did a lot of research before buying these copper mugs, and they came highly recommended - no complaints about them at all. They live up to what I'd read about them. They're beautiful, as well as functional, well-made and a really good size. I didn't mind paying just a little bit extra for the excellent quality. They'll last forever! And I got excellent customer service. The first package arrived very quickly, but when I opened it, one mug had a stainless steel handle, and the other had a copper one. Both handles are beautiful, but I wanted them to match, and they're advertised as coming with stainless steel handles. So, I wrote back that day (I think it was a Friday, but it could have been Thursday evening), and they immediately answered back with an apology and said they would ship another order with super fast delivery, and sure enough, it was at my house on Monday. They also supplied the return shipping labels for sending back for free the original order, making everything nice and easy for me.

Great product. Arrived on time. I'm happy.

Absolutely the best copper mug on the market. Make sure you wash/wipe immediately following use and you won't have to worry about tarnish ;)
