Club Maker Review
As a club maker, I am always changing shafts in my clubs. I fitted an Alpha Platinum 45 shaft in my TaylorMade M5 driver and love it. It is 10 to 20 yards longer than any other shaft I have tried. The light weight gives you a real feel for the head and higher swing speed, but is very controllable. I fitted the club with a Winn Dura Tech grip to the untrimmed full length Platinum shaft, and I choke down a bit for the narrower, tree lined tee shots.

Very good distance & straight!
I was hesitant to buy this shaft but was pleasently surprised on my first outing. I just knew every thing was going to go right. No slicing at all! I'm so pleased with the performance, ie. No slice and distance,I'm going to put one in my three metal wood. Price is right and performance is very very good!
