A Basket of Summer Fruit

All I can say is, get this book!!! It’s a treasure! I’ve told others about this book and cannot say enough good about it.

Spurgeon’s wife.Find it difficult to get into. Too many notes from the present day author. Wanted to hear strictly from Mrs. Spurgeon

Beautifully written. It is so encouraging to hear first hand the wisdom and truth from Scripture in her book. I have read this book and loved it !!! I have given it as a gift to our Pastor's wife.

What an amazing book written by an amazing woman of the faith. This book will be an encouragement to anyone who loves the Lord. It is written in a devotional format after her husband (C H Spurgeon) had passed away, but is rich with Scriptural principles that are sure to encourage the downcast. Buy it for someone you love!

Wonderful, clear and truthful reading. I would recommend this book and this christian author to anyone. Mrs. Spurgeon was quite the knowledgeable believer who could compose her christian thoughts in an in-depth manner to everyone to understand.

I absolutely loved reading this book. It didn't bore me at all, and had some super encouraging things in it. Susannah was such an inspirational wife to one of the greatest preachy, Charles Spurgeon. Even when her husband died, Susannah remained loyal to the Lord and didn't waver in her faith. She ends this devotional type book with some sweet words, urging young and old ladies alike to not just know about God, but to really know him. And know that he delights and loves them.I highly recommend this book to women and girls of all ages.
