You really need to take K2 with D3 - I am living proof
These little tablets contain the perfect amount of combined vitamins D3 and K2 for me and are such good value.Upon discovering I was deficient in vitamin D following a blood test some years ago, I did some research and found out that you should also take vitamin K2 at the same time. I followed this advice for a year or so and, when I had a retest at the GP, I was really pleased to see my Vit D level had increased by a lot. However, some health guru on Twitter was telling people they didn’t need the additional K2 with their Vitamin D and to stop wasting money on unnecessary supplements. She said it was just a con and a way of getting vitamin D people to spend more. Like a fool, I believed this crank and just bought D3 on its own after that @ March 2022. I was pleased that I was saving money.Alas, when I had my most recent vit D test at the GP this September 2023, my D levels had dropped dramatically, despite me taking a high strength D3 tablet daily. The graph showed a big increase when I started Vit D3 with K2. But, when I got rid of the K2 and just took vitamin D alone, there was a big drop back down again! I couldn’t believe the difference. Without the K2, I am failing to absorb all the D3 I am taking. I am not saving money, I am wasting money! So, I have gone back on the Vit D3 and K2 supplements and this is the one I am taking at the moment. I will continue taking it and it will be very interesting to see what my Vit D level is the next time I am tested. From previous experience and knowing the importance of K2, I expect my vit D level will now be rising again after starting these tablets. To show how my vit D level dropped off when I stopped the K2 and just took D3 on its own, I have attached my blood test results in graph form (anonymised of course). It is certainly very telling about the important role of K2 when you take D3 supplements.Vit D3 + K2 = big rise in blood D3 levelsVit D3 on its own = big drop in blood D3 levelsThe graph of my results makes it as clear as the eye can see that, without K2, vit D3 supplements on their own are not enough to raise blood vit D levels.Yet, the GPs know nothing about it and never tell you about it. They just dole out mega doses of D3 thinking that will resolve everything, yet it doesn’t. What a surprise! So…this supplement is ideal as a combination of both D3 and K2. I bet my results will have rocketed back up next time I am tested. I will update. Hope you find this informative.

Fight the good fight!
One of my good friends swears by Vitamin D. Reckons it helps in the fight against COVID. And this is the version he recommends. Other friends have told me that you get Vitamin D from the sun. But having looked into that claim, you would have to be dancing around naked for quite a while everyday to get sufficient supplies that way. More to the point, as I am Victorian white, with a skin that takes great exception to the sun, for me this essential vitamin must come out of a bottle. The tablets are small and easily swallowed, so they are ow part of my daily regime.
