Vic Firth Signature Series -- Dave Weckl

These have been some of my absolute favorite drumsticks for many years! The original Dave Weckls are the perfect all-around drumsticks! As a drummer, I’ve played through a lot of sticks, and the Vic Firth Dave Weckl Signature Series has become one of my absolute favorites. Through the decades I've gone through many brands, styles and sizes of sticks from all manufacturers. These by far are the most balanced, comfortable 5A sticks for acoustic or electronic drums for me. The barrel head design rebounds nicely especially on my Yamaha DTX-Pro XP-80 & XP -100 silicone drum heads as well as my PCY cymbals.

Great feel, but too slippery . ⭐⭐⭐ Edit: After a month of use, not as bad as I thought. But still not as grippy as I would like. Adding a star.

Great sticks! I have been used to playing 7As and got these for Christmas. Now I hate going back! These Wreckl's are dipped in paint instead of the usual bare wood or lacquered. This gives it a nice feel and looks clean too. Perfect weight especially for fast drumming or soft playing. The tip is basically a round barrel shape instead of the common tear drop which I feel like it brings out a warmer tone that isn't so bright. Others might disagree, but these are definitely my new favorite sticks!

Been my fav for several years. Surprised how durable they are. The nylon tips stay on. I wear them down to almost pencil thin before replacing. I play mostly classic rock.

Simply the best drum sticks you can buy. Optimal length, weight, and tip shape for all styles of play.

These are outstanding sticks, perfectly weighted and balanced. Nice for sticking heavier rides but does not overwhelm on thinner crashes.
