Ashford & Brooks Women's Flannel Plaid Sleep Shirt Button Down Nightgown

This flannel nightshirt is wonderful. It's much more than I was expecting. It's a warm, heavy weight flannel that's extra roomy and best of all, it has pockets! I'm just 5'3" but it's plenty long on me. It falls to mid-calf on me. The length should be fine for someone tall. I'm a very large busted apple shape and I'm happy to find it doesn't look like a plaid potato sack! I'm very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend it. EXCELLENT quality.Update- I bought 2 of these. I didn't inspect them for any defects before washing them. But, I now see that one of them has a large hole where the stitching was unfinished around the collar. I didn't notice it when I tried it on because it was hidden by the collar. So, inspect it carefully before removing tags and washing it. Hoping I can return it to exchange for another one.

Very mixed bag. It fits loose as expected; I'm a Medium but ordered a Large since I prefer my sleep clothes loose & comfy. The pattern is fairly nice although a bit darker than it looked on my device. But...it has roll-tab sleeves, which I can't stand. I thought the model just wore them rolled up, since I didn't see a mention of that feature anywhere. Stitching is quite sloppy; threads sticking out everywhere, uneven seams. Pulled out a few slivers of half-unraveled fabric from the inside seams. Lastly, I don't consider fabric that's 45% polyester to be flannel, although I understand some do. Not returning it, but not thrilled with it either.

Purchased for Christmas & for around the house.Pros:- The buffalo check pattern is true (not pink & purple like some other items I’ve purchased).- nice soft but heavy material, real flannelCons:- The fit is very loose, I bought an XL because it was the only size that would ship soon enough. I normally wear a large in button ups b/c of my larger chest but I think I could’ve gotten away with a small or medium.- I read the reviews and many people said there were pockets, they had issues with the pockets, but they still had them- NO POCKETS on mine & that was the thing I was most excited about. I need pockets in my lounge/sleepwear these days. I need my hands for carrying my baby, not pacifiers & my phone (those items go in pockets! Ugh). I’m so bummed.I’m on the fence, it’s nice quality & cute, but it’s real big & no pockets. I may be returning.

I bought the 3x size deliberately so it would be baggy and loose. I am 5'11" and the shirt comes down all the way to my knees. The night-shirt is really well-made, no raw-edges, all seams are serged. I though the side pockets would be annoying but I found them to be really useful! The flannel is very soft. I have machine washed and dried this garment and it holds its shape really well, even the collar stays nice and flat! I am in love with my new night shirt!!

What is Christmas without red and black Buffalo Check pajamas?! These pajamas came on time and in new condition. They have been washed numerous times since. There are no pulls, tears, or unraveled hems. There has been no apparent shrinkage. The pajamas work well in warmer climates. They are very comfortable. The size feels like it is a little larger than normal. That’s always great when it comes to pajama sizing!! I would definitely buy these pajamas again. I would also not hesitate to purchase similar pajamas from the same company!

I read the reviews for this prior to purchasing. I was going to purchase a cheaper option based on looks of product ( another company) but once I read the reviews, I found that that item was not flannel. I chose to go w/ the flannel reviews of this item. It is indeed flannel of a great weight, color, fabric and style. So excited to lounge out in this w/ some adorable knee socks. Plan to look cute post surgery!

I was looking for a warm sleep shirt and this one totally fits the bill! It is a little too long for me but it is cozy just the same. I am 5' 2 1/2" and weigh 170-175 with all my weigh in my hips! So, I would be a little afraid that the fabric would tighten up too much around my hips if I went a size down but I was hoping it would be a tiny bit shorter - it hits me just below my knees. It is very warm, though, and that is essentially what I was looking for. I tend to use it for a robe, as well.

Very comfortable nightshirt, though not very "sexy"... perhaps because I ordered a large so that it would be comfy to sleep in... The material is thinner than expected and not as soft as some flannels (that's why I gave it a 4)... It arrived with one sleeve buttoned up and the other down, so to show the versatility of the sleeves, which was very helpful... So far, I've kept the sleeves long, because it's been such a cold winter...

I wish companies (not just this one) would pre-shrink their cotton, and state in their advertisements whether their cotton garments are preshrunk. Unshrunk cotton shrinks wildly unpredictably depending upon weave and other variables.I ordered up in this expecting greater shrinkage per similar orders (100% cotton flannel); it didn’t shrink much.It looks pretty nice and is a bit thinner than some other flannels, but is still decent fabric, though quite oversized per my not having any idea how to gauge / anticipate shrinkage. That said, unlike PJ bottoms it’s not a complete deal breaker as I can still wear this and I do like it. It’s comfortable if not perfect fitting.

I've updated this review about 4 times since I've gotten it. I received the nightgown 1 month ago. At first I really liked it. It's long enough to bend over in, the material is thick enough that all my postpardom lady lumps aren't on display.HOWEVER, after 1 wash it started to pill like crazy. I've also had to resew every single button back on. After a couple washes, the material isn't nearly what it used to be and the front doesn't stay closed properly anymore. It's like the buttons they used are too small for the button holes.I'm just happy I chose the least expensive color out of the bunch at $35CAD. Some of them get up to the $60's. Noooo thank you! The quality just isn't there!

The product is the right size, the material is soft but the stitches are not well done, someplace it doesn't hold the material together.
