I got this right on the first buy, and I am almost sure that these will last longer than the wheels that came with my luggage. On a recent trip, between the taxi and the door of the hotel, the wheels of BOTH pieces just started disintegrating. What a bummer. This luggage is Victorinox, about 10 years old. The bodies of the luggage pieces are still in excellent shape. Only my 30-year-old Samsonite still has its original wheels. Kudos to them. Since I have replaced luggage wheels before, I knew this was a worthwhile try. These fit my 4-wheel piece perfectly using all of the washers and the longer axles. Spins like a top now. OF NOTE, this fixed only one piece. For the other, I could not find any wheels that matched. BUT, I contacted Victorinox, and for that one THEY MAILED ME A SET FOR FREE! Great service for some "vintage" luggage. Victorinox is a good brand. FYI, the original axles for the 4-wheeler were riveted on. You may see videos on how to remove these. I tried both ways. First, I tried a reciprocating saw, basically a powered hacksaw. This was quite a chore and a little dangerous. Then I tried a drill. this was fast and easy. Drill on the riveted end with a bit just a little bigger than the axle diameter. The idea is to drill away the outer rivet edges. This was fast, relatively easy, and much safer. Don't be afraid to attempt this fix, but make sure your measure your original wheels EXACT specifications before shopping.

I Had to drill out two factory rivets on the luggage to get old wheels off. Thes came with two sets of screws with different lengths to work in many different installs. Looks good and rolls good.

After getting the run-around on replacement wheels from the suitcase manufacturer, I gave these a try. I had to saw off the axle on the original set of wheels because they were riveted on, and the axles provided by this manufacturer were too short, so I extended them by inserted a screw after sawing off its head so it would fill the gap between two of the axles that came with the wheels. The new wheels work just fine, so all the jerry-rigging was worthwhile.
