Honest after a year review
I've had 3 sets of these sleeves for almost 2 years now. I tig weld aluminum in them daily and have washed them in the machine countless times and they still fit tight, elastic is still good and tight on both ends and haven't ripped them or been burned through them yet! I can run a double pass and lay my arm right on the weld and it's not hot at all. Triple pass it starts getting a bit hot through them. For the price I'd say definitely buy them!! I love them enough I've bought 3 pair to rotate out while washing and all 3 pair have held great. I've even had coworkers see mine and order sets and they love them. They're a bit tight on me and hard to pull up at first almost like a compression sock or something but after wearing them a few hours they stretch enough to put on easier but still fit tight! Even after every wash they bounce right back to like new! I've never put them to a real test of cutting but I work with sharp objects and yet to be cut with them on. I'm no bot or paid fake ad. This is just my honest review of a great product. For the money you can't beat them and they're far superior to any other welding sleeves I've worn over the years! A GREAT BUY!!

Sweater material
I bought these sleeves for blowing glass. The material was like knitted material and looked like sleeves of a sweater. I returned them because they were not useful for my purpose. I am assuming they would be good for other uses. I bought size 18 they were long on me.

These gloves suck they are not Kevlar
These are not Kevlar they are cotton they are not bite proof. You can bite yourself and see the bite mark on your skin. I have them on a 71 year old dementia woman who bites herself. So I was trying to protect her skin and these was no help

Not great for welding
i cant speak for any other aspect of these, but these aren't great for welding. the knit is not tight enough to prevent ALL the spark from hitting your arms, they only burn for a split second but they are sure as hell distracting, and they leave read burn marks on your arm. if u are wearing a long sleeve cotton shirt these will probably be helpful in prolonging how long your shirt lasts and protect your arm in case u accidentally brush a hot object, but these don't protect your bare arm again 100% of the sparks that fly off when welding, every 10-30 seconds one-2 goes through the gaps. so if u bought these like i did,, so i wouldn't need to wear a long sleeve short on a hot day and instead just wanted to put them on right before i did welding. these dont work for that. you need to wear long sleeves under them to fully protect your arms from sparks
