Easy attachment and works well

I really enjoy using this pasta maker—it works well and makes fresh pasta so much easier. The only downside is that it doesn’t feel completely safe while using it. I sometimes worry about my fingers getting too close and possibly being squeezed in the rollers.

This fits our KitchenAid mixer well and we have used two of the three attachments and they work fine.

Love this pasta maker. Home made pasta is always tasty and delicious.

My wife wanted to make her own pasta during the Coronavirus/COVID-19 lockdown. We have a KitchenAid mixer, and this CoFun set came with 3 different pasta rollers. PROS - Looks well-made - Fits KitchenAid perfectly - Cut pasta nicely and evenly (did not try the roller accessory -- the one that doesn't cut) CONS - Some pasta could be lodged on the inside, making it a bit difficult to clean - Drying the accessory could be a challenge as residual water after a wash could remain (Note: instructions say NOT to submerge the accessory. Just rinse quickly and wipe to clean) NOTES - When we used the accessory, we initially had the pasta fed sideways (horizontal/parallel to the table). This was when some pasta was left behind in the inside compartments. The proper way is to orient the rollers as pictured in the Amazon product photos: the pasta should be fed VERTICALLY into/out of the roller, perpendicular to the table Overall, we are happy with the results. Fresh-made pasta is so much more delicious than the dried ones! Add some fresh tomatoes, basil, and some ground meat... Delicious!

I've used these attachments about 3 times now, making different thicknesses of spaghetti noodles. It's worked great every time, and it's a lot of fun to use. The attachments fit into my kitchenaid with ease, and it's quick and easy to switch out the roller and cutter while making batches. Each attachment is weighty and seems to made entirely of stainless steel. I'd be concerned with it denting if it got dropped on the floor, but other than that, I think they'll last a long time. My only other concern is that you aren't supposed to wash these with water, so I'm wondering about germs or bacteria potentially building up over multiple uses since I use a dough recipe with eggs. Boiling the pasta might kill anything that gets on the noodles, but it's only in the water for about a minute and a half, so I'm not sure if that's long enough.

I really like this pasta set, it is very easy to use. I had been using a hand turned pasta machine and was so excited to try this one that looks similar to the name brand. It arrived in great shape and is very heavy and sturdy, has clear instructions even on the box. Made my pasta today and it turned out perfectly. Used my kitchen aid to mix and kneed the dough, let it rest for about 30 minutes, cut off chunks of dough flattened out to a rectangle shape and rolled through the largest setting folded and repeated on the large setting for apprx 5 times. Decreased the size by one for a few more passes, kept decreasing until the thickness I prefered. Changed the blade to the fettuccini cutter fed dough sheets through it was perfect, no sticking or dough stuck inside cutter its perfectly clean. (my hand turn machine dough often sticks on rollers) So far it seems like it was a good investment. Highly recommend.

If you're shopping for pasta maker attachments for your KitchenAid stand mixer, or in my case for my Cuisinart SM-50 stand mixer, there are many different brands out there. Most of those brands, including CoFun, I've never even heard of. So I chose this one based on the mostly positive reviews of other users. And now that I have it, I would say I'm not at all disappointed. These pasta maker attachments are of excellent quality. They fit in my Cuisinart's hub and don't wobble at all when I'm using them. The pasta roller works great, you just have to remember 8 is the thickest setting and 1 is the thinnest setting. The cutters work great, leaves no pasta sheet uncut. I only need to get better at making my pasta dough, but my very first attempt came out pretty good. I tossed my homemade noodles with some of my homemade spinach pesto and it was delicious!
