Great value for the money
Using these to take the coating off my Tim Holtz paper dolls. Great value for the money. These are more functional for sanding small items. Love these came in q-tip form. Will order again in the future.

Sanding Sticks are a wonderful specialized sanding tool for anyone who builds things as a hobby.
I had a specific task for these Sanding Sticks: I need to slightly enlarge some holes in some Balsa Wood Fuselage Formers that were inside the back of a Model Airplane. I was able to cut the center plastic stick of the Sanding Sticks in half and stick that inside a flexible plastic tube so I cold extend the sanding surface inside each of the small holes that were already made in the Fuselage Formers. It worked perfectly. See photo.

Not very rigid
I really wanted to love these! I keep them around and do use them frequently. But the shaft is not the most rigid and I end up having to hold it practically on the sand paper end to use it. Does what I need, just not as effectively as it could be.

Their okay!
They work well enough, but wear out quickly and are poorly marked to figure out which one is which grit. I had to feel them with my fingers and basically guess.

Not labeled with grit numbers!
These are just ok, and I won’t buy again. They’re rigid, and the ends are about 2x the size of a Q-tip in all directions. For me, the size is good, but they’re more aggressive than regular sandpaper of the same grit. Since there’s a learning curve to everything, I’m hoping to make them work for my needs. (Haven’t used them a whole lot yet, so I can’t speak to how long they actually last, but they look solid enough for several moderate uses.)The biggest pet-peeve I have is that they aren’t labeled with grit numbers! They give a diagram listing grits by color — problem with that is, they’re all so similar! There’s such little variation between the four dark gray colors, I can’t tell them apart! (The picture on Amazon showing color variations is deceiving.)

Great hobby tools
Really pleased with the purchase and shipping speed of these hobby tools. The curved sanding design was something I was shopping for. Having these in my toolbox was a great idea and the seller had great communication and speed of delivery. As pictured and described in the product page and I would recommend these for your hobby!
