Liquid Egg White Protein - 2 Half Gallons

So far I just finished one gallon from the 4 half gallons I ordered. This protein is an amazing meal substitute and an immaculate source of protein! The only thing that I don't like about it is its consistency. Usually when I substitute it for a meal, I pump a couple of pumps into some Gatorade, quick and easy! The only thing is, the consistency made me want to vomit at first (until I got used it) but it made me less hungry compared to a powdered protein shake which was an up for me.Taste.Liquid egg whites has no taste, to me at least. If you use it in a drink or shake, your pretty much watering down your drink. So since I use it in Gatorade, its like I'm drinking watered down Gatorade. Some times I throw in a Equal or Splenda to sweeten it up. But again the down side was the consistency. In the beginning it felt like I was drinking sludge and it made me a bit nauseated. It took me 1-2 weeks to get used it then it just became like water for me. I still have not tried to drink it without mixing it with anything and I don't plan on it either haha.CostIts a bit pricy compared to powdered protein shakes but then again, you are getting more bang for your buck. Someone told me before that we can only absorb 70-80 percent of regular protein. Liquid egg whites claim that you absorb 100% and to be honest, I believe them.MaintenanceYou can freeze it indefinitely and it takes 6-8 hours to thaw. It has to stay in a fridge which is kind of annoying if your fridge is full and thats why I bought the half gallons, so I don't have to remove the pump every time I use it and save some space!Overall I'm giving it 5 stars because its a solid investment in a protein! Best source and its all natural!*Edit*One more thing on [...] the half gallon is 6 dollars cheaper but I believe that the shipping costs a bit more, 15 dollars I think, and its 10 on amazon so it evens out I guess! Yeah, I know - the first reaction is "ew, raw eggs". I started by ordering just a pair of pints because I wasn't sure myself and I'm now ordering my second two gallon shipment. For anyone working out and/or if, like me, you're a type two diabetic looking for a good source of protein with no carbs and just about no fat/cholesterol, this is a great way to go. After coming back from the gym I put some whey protein (fast absorption as opposed to the egg whites which absorb more slowly over a longer time period) into about 8 oz of the egg whites and chug it down. It really doesn't taste like anything and has the consistency of milk more or less. I use sugar free strawberry whey power in a simple shaker bottle and it tastes fine. I also use it now and again to make egg nog with sugar free coffee flavoring - little Splenda, some egg nog flavoring and a dash of cinnamon (not a nutmeg fan) and it's about 24 grams of protein in a tasty drink. On days I lift "big" (well, big for me anyway - it's a relative thing) I do this at night before going to bed.The gallon jugs show up frozen about solid at my house - it takes a couple days in the fridge before they're completely liquid - you need to shake them up _hard_ before using. I didn't care for the pump much myself - I just pour it out and never have a problem. Cleaning the pump was a pain for me and it clogged too often to be useful. Plus with the gallon jugs it's pretty tall with the pump and didn't fit in my fridge without moving the shelves around to accommodate it.

Liquid eggs is a really good source plus you can even cook with it!

I love this stuff. This has so many uses and is great for you.Cooking-Very easy to cook with, just pour it in a pan or something and you can have egg whites. I usually make an omlet out of it. Cuts way back on your fat. The average egg has about 5 grams of fat and a crap ton of cholestrol. so this helps thereMixing-I like to mix mine in with some fruit. I litteraly just dump about 80z with some bananas or whatever fruit i have and those are what i use for protein shakes.Taste-Does not have much taste if any at all. You could drink it straight if you wanted to but i like haveing some flavor in my lifeCost-Is a bit more expensive then someother Proteins or egg white poweder and liquids but is deff worth the price.I usually order the two half gallons due to space. I also reccomend buying the liquid squeeze nozzle or w.e it is. for every push i think they said is about 8oz or soo... makes it easy to measure things if your anal about that.Great product and will keep on buying!

Not sure why these are so highly reviewed when you can buy egg whites for literally half the price at Costco in bulk. The pump didn't work half the time making me feel like an idiot while I pumped furiously 10+ times just to get a few ounces into a cup. I just open the small Costco egg white carton and pour from a spout with no need for an expensive pump. I guess I can thank the makers of this product for making me get off my ass to find a cheaper solution for bulk egg whites.

I was a little worried ordering egg whites online but after having these egg whites daily I am totally satisfied and will be buying again. It was nice and frozen when it arrived and the packaging was great! It also Tastes great! I eat egg whites daily and this is perfect and lasts a long time. I still have the other half gallon in the freezer. It is Well worth the price.I ordered the pump to go with it. In my opinion I think it is really important to have the pump.
